I seem to think he checked this account - and this account is a twink of mine, so I DM him about my original
I kinda can guess why ban was initiated, and if thats so - well, its unfair, but I guess they will not make exceptions nor for me nor for main person of that whole story

Because I am friend of one known dataminer (perhaps one only, lol), who asked me to check Beta for 9.2 that I was given. Turns out everybody including himself were banned after these events. So basically I don't know what he was doing there, but I guess that is a reason
What did "everybody" do? Are you all used same account? Or your data miner fried have access to everyone's account?
We gave him access to beta, because he wanted to check something and assured that nothing odd will be done. Turns out that he might have done something. Well, not gonna blame him, but still upsetting
Wait, you said that you thought that was “unfair?” You let someone else access your account - which is already a violation of the rules - knowing he was going to reverse engineer the game client - which is *also* a violation of the rules - and you suspect he “did something” that got you banned and a) you’re not going to blame him, and b) you think it is unfair that you got banned for this?
I would really like to hear the rationalization for this one.
