Black Friday 7* AG.....shards? So now we have to collect shards to fully form an Awakening Gem?

7* AG shards?? What's going on here? We've never had to collect Awakening Gem shards before. If it's about maintaining a stream of money, then I think this is completely unecessary. The highly anticipated 7* AG could have been placed in bundles. Whales and "Orcas" would have had no problem buying all of the deals to get to the 7* AG.
And exactly how many does it take to fully form a 7* AG? I didn't see info on that. All it says is "collect shards to from a new crystal" just like it does with other crystals. Does it take 10,000 shards, or 20,000 like the Titan crystal? Does buying all of the Odins guarantee a fully formed 7* AG, or half of one and the rest of the sharda have to be acquired somewhere else?
Either way, I hope this isn't a permanent direction the game is going in.

Made a poll for it here. This basically indirectly confirms that in 2025 theyll have a bunch of offers for these shards, slowly diminishing the value of the current most rare resource in game.
They should've just kept it like they did for 6* with Abyss and challenging content to obtain. Shards shifts the teeter totter towards heavy spenders over content completers
But , now that theyve made it like this, they'll have to keep on adding AG shards because most spenders will buy just 1 maybe 2 odins, which means they'll need more shards to form the crystal.
They really shouldve thought this through more
I found them. They're in the Shards tab, and are class AG's. So they're RNG and we're not even guranteed to get the same shards everytime. Smh! Wtf is this Kabam done pulled? 😂
And also, with this "recent" discovery, didn't they just pretty much introduce a 7* AG, but just behind 4 Odins? So instead of it being introduced for free in Act 9 quests, it's in Cyber for $400.
I don't get it, it's like they realised they were accelerating the game economy too fast when they brought out necro and now they are putting a stick in the spokes.
I think that's a good thing.
Im going to assume these shards will be coming to content. Easier for f2p to get access in future.
