Anniversary Carinas Challenges

Im just returning to the game after a break and saw the live stream mention that youd need all 5 deathless champs to complete all of the anniversary challenges, so is it not possible to complete and get all the rewards for someone like me without spending upwards of 20k units to get all the pieces i missed?

Correct. Gotta spend the units to participate. I didn't play for 10 months and am currently 35k units shy of having all the champs.

I would say i am an endgame player since ive been valiant since like the first month it was obtainable but i just ended up missing some of the aw showcases and such that rewarded pieces

There are 6 carinas challenges starting on the 10th. You only need she hulk for one of them.

Carina's Challenges are supposed to be just that, Challenges. They're not like the Seasons of Sorry Objectives which are explicitly designed to be able to be smashed out and even soloed. They're supposed to be difficult, and maybe even delayed until players are up to the...say it with me...CHALLENGE

This is the first time MSD has been involved in any Carina's Challenge.

He actually helped make it easier by calling out potential roadblocks, since he has the most experience in Necropolis over pretty much any other player out there - I'd recommend shooting him a thank you.

Involvment not creation. I specifically replied that I dont like his way of thinking etc, so I don t find him suitable to make something that involves a challenge this big. Among others, it s like with non qualified teachers, being good at doing somthing, doesn't mean you can also teach it or create something like it.

Well at least thats reassuring that it wont be roadblocking that gives me more hope of running it

I will after I see what he has in store for the new challenge. From what I saw so far, I don t think he can get us a KM or Lagacy level of content, but I ll be very happy to get proven wrong.
