I think letting you choose from any of the challenges though makes it much better. The piece won’t be tied to a specific challenge from what they said. So you’ll get to pick the one that’s best for your roster
Yes, it is much better. I agree , there is still hope that you can do at least one path without experience the full level pain of what Karina's challengers are.
I think we can think about who they have given out (or plat track) or will give out this year. Earlier this year or Plat Track: Cheelith, Mr Sinister, Beta Ray Bill, Dazzler 10x10: Wiccan, Vox, Sentry (already mentioned), Isophyne maybe

Totally agree with this. I suspect they have heard some of the dissatisfaction with Royal Hunt, and to a lesser extent extent Chrono-versary, with people complaining they don’t have the necessary champs. If Grand Carina’s (or Carina’s 4) leans on the free champs, it defuses a lot of the complaints.

It would be great for Kabam to drop challenge details and champion pools for all the challenges. We have rankup resources expiring, and I would love to use catalysts and ascension dust on champs now so I can use them when the content drops.

You're nuts if you think they don't have the pools set by now. The patch drops Monday and these challenges go live Wednesday. It's all set and known, likely already coded. They won't be editing it at this point.

I used him on my first run at r2 with boost and most fights were either solos or 1 revive
