Paragon during 10Year Anniversary

saorpssaorps Member Posts: 85
Hello Kabam,
I got Paragon during the 10-year anniversary, but my free champions remain 6*. I understand the 6* I got before becoming Paragon should not change, but after that, I was expecting to be 7* since everything else in the account changed to the Paragon setup.
Thanks

What about victory track rewards? You still getting thronebreaker rewards?

    Different issue.

If the item you get is a “Selector”, then you obviously would be able to choose your newly achieved progression based item from within the Selector that pops up afterwards.

It is just fixed items, Calendars, Objectives, Solo Events, that already have their non-selector items listed at the time they first become available, that remain fixed.

Although Advancing progressions may open up additional Objectives at that time, that are only available for that Progression. That doesn’t change the objectives that were already in place.

The rewards are equivalent to your summoner progression level when it started.. if you became 'Paragon' before the 10 for 10 event started.. I'd guess week before it started, it is safe to assume that you will receive 7*.. but if you are still 'Thronebreaker' few days before or on the 10DEC, you might be a little too late to the boat.. and you get 6* champion.. only good thing is 'Thronebreaker' get 7* Isophyne (which is the 10th and last giveaway champion)..

When or what day did you achieve becoming 'Paragon'? if you became paragon when December calendar 📅 started.. that might be too late as I mentioned above.

Just hit Paragon today. I was hopeful that the rewards would update on the calendar since the Spider-man reward correction was sent a second time to me. The second time with 7* Spidey. Wish I had done it this sooner. The quests were all pretty fun.

I remember Kabam saying in Nov stream that the calendar is daily, meaning you will be eligible for whatever your progression level on that day. I advise you to contact support.

If it makes you feel better, I got Valiant last year thirty minutes after the Christmas calendar started, so I got to keep the paragon calendar. I mistimed it because I thought the calendar would come out at 10am, but it came early whilst I was finishing my Necro run. So now I never procrastinate.

    What was christmas calendar?
I thought only 1 gift is given by Kabam on 25 Dec?

@Amanda_Cruze remember, this was last year. The rewards were a big jump from paragon to Valiant as valiant was brand new, and 7* did not flow freely like they do now.

And Christmas calendar is probably the wrong wording, but I'll still call it that.

And this started on 25th December or 20th?
    Im currently at 7.3.4.
I already have r4 champs so only Act 8 completion is required for Paragon

Did they actually say that 2nd part during the Stream ? About changing progression mid-calendar ?
Or was that about the upcoming Banquet “Glorious Guardians Champion Box” champs (not sure if those are always 7*, or by Progression) ?

Thoughts @Ackbar67 (since you put out the Recap posts up here) ?

Or just the 1st part, and that by Daily they mean that unlike other calendars where you miss days it keeps eating away at the END of the calendar, this 10x10 one is not.

This one the drop Champs are specific to the Day.

So if you miss a day on these, it doesn’t affect the END of the calendar.

No idea since it was a year ago. It could have started on neither of those days.

They definitely did not say that changing progression would update the calendar. They might have confused it with the supply drop format like you said, or maybe they misunderstood the fact that thronebreakers get 7* isophyne?
