PSA: Banquet Keys in Odins

I didn’t see this communicated from Kabam in any of the in-game, forum, or Discord messages on the event. Apparently there will be a deal for more Banquet keys with the purchase of an Odin.
Wanted to pass along to help people plan their spending. If this had been properly communicated, I personally would have held off purchasing SBCs for units until after the upcoming Odin deal went live

    Has anyone confirmed that it’s in there yet? The description on the purchase doesn’t say it’s in there.

    Totally agree, but I already bought an Odin to buy some SBCs. If I had known about the extra keys I would have waited.

    The offer isn’t in the unit store yet. That’s why I’d suggest waiting if you’re planning on purchasing any units.

    Agree. I just would have preferred to throw bad money once and at least had a banquet key included to soften the sting.

    I'm guessing it will be part of the Christmas deals next week. They usually offer unit bundles around Christmas

    So they “succeeded” by not telling you about this, just like how they claim they “succeeded” in that pathetic message about the banquet announcement.

    I can confirm it. It is one of my biggest criticisms is that those deals should have gone up at the very start of banquet to help out the moderate spenders. Idk if I can tell you when they start, but I can tell you in previous years, they started those deals on December 24th

    I meant it worked for me that’s it didn’t start unless there would make it 2 weeks though. But yeah there should put a post about there be deals later

    I'm glad these Odin's weren't released. After the mega crappy pulls from the SBC's there's no way I'm spending more money on this game. Thanks Kabam!!!😐

    I organize and manage complex digital events for a living and appreciate how complicated it is to run something like what Kabam is doing. But botching the communication around something like the Odin offers is just terrible. It says to the player base that they don’t respect our time, pre-event curiosity, or need to manage the $ and resources we want to desperately find a reason to give them. I’m sure there was no ill intent but it’s just received as disrespectful at this point.

    I agree with @Pikolu on this one. This has been an issue every year, so enough time for kabam to shift how they do it. I’m even OK with them not launching these deals on the first day, but they should communicate that they are coming so that folks who plan to buy units know to wait.

    Hey guys, just so you know if you bought an Odin and still have enough units for it to be subtracted from your account, then you can submit a ticket to kabam support and they'll give you a refund. Do note: you need the units in your account before you submit the ticket.

    This means that you can wait for the sales to drop, buy the Odin with the key and then issue a refund from the previous Odin and you'll just lose the units you got from it. Always go through Kabam support for issuing refunds unless you want contest credits on your account and no longer be able to buy anything.
