What's the point of progression if Valiants are goin to be lumped in with lower progression levels?

To me it seemed like the over abundance of R2 7* mats available in the crystals with a much higher drop rate then the R3 7* mats had a target in mind.
    Thronebreaker.
…to limit them to R2’s ( which is great for them )
Problem is most Valiant players have an abundance of R2 mat’s and are looking for R3 ones.
So that leaves Valiants,..the ones that pushed themselves to get the ranking…out in the cold.
That is how that grouping for a crystal doesn’t work,..SBC’s should have been available to Valiant and maybe Paragon,..but that’s it.

I entirely agree, except Paragon should 100% have access to it as well, because Paragons are trying to get Valiant, and banquet would be useless to all Paragons otherwise.
When myself and others were Paragon, we did what we needed to do to become Valiant..like Necro. There were players who had become Valiant already, and no Valiant rewards were offered to us. If someone is Paragon, and are trying to get Valiant, and haven't done Necropolis yet, then that's what they need to do.
Necropolis is no longer needed, there are much better ways to get Valiant now, like 9.1 and Crucible. I'm currently doing initial 9.1 completion
The point is, they need to do the content that gets them the Valiant progression title, and get the Valiant rewards that way. Period. If Crucible is a better option, then so be it.
I don't know what you are talking about here, Banquet/Gifting event ALWAYS allowed players to progress to the next rank, what you are saying right now means that Cavalier for example shouldn't get T5CC to become thronebreaker. Thronebreaker shouldn't get T3A and T6B to become Paragon, etc. I mean all of those progressions before required big skill leaps to acquire those rewards as well. I don't see how Paragon should be treated differently and not get T4A.

I pushed hard to get Valliant, including purchasing costly t4a material during the black Friday event, and I should have saved my units as I got all I needed for 2 r3 with the Banquet to get the title and achieiving Valliant before Banquet provided litterally no bonus…

The real tiers in this game are whales, valiants, paragons, thronebreakers etc
Each tier is a different customer segment
Whales are actually very important, they pay for the servers and operational costs etc, not every game last 10 years, remember Marvel realm of champions, a spin off of MCOC, actually failed bcos no whales wanted to support the game, if the whales aren't happy with the banquet crystals, it's literally disaster for the game, the moment they stop spending, MCOC will join MROC in the history books
As a 6 million plus rating valiant, I get matched with whales in battlegrounds, I see their decks, I know how much they spend, I do win sometimes with skill and luck
Every tier should get what they need to progress to the next tier
Whales and valiants get the short end of the stick in this banquet event
If the whales and valiants get demoralised totally and stop spending, this banquet will be the last banquet, the game will probably shut down next year

I personally think that paragon are also getting short end of the stick this banquet because the biggest sought after reward from the crystals for valiant and paragon are T4A, of course valiant also want T7B but T4A still is what people want the most because it's not like there's a lot of it anyways, valiant wanna be able to rank 3 more champions and also be able to have enough T4A to be able to Rank 4 eventually as well. and Paragon really want T4A to get the final push. Though i completely agree with what you said, This event is really bad for F2P, Paragon, Valiant and Whales.

idk why you value being valiant as highly, you explore story and get valiant by default. People become valiant in 14 days. its not valuable because itsnot hard or rare or expensive. Being valiant is not an achievement imo thats just how this title works this deep into it's lifespan. Next title released should come soon and will be valuable for 4-8 months before it becomes trivial and worthless again

No one said valiant title should be valued high. All we say is valiants and TBs have different goals and deserve different rewards.
actually, lemme tell you something crazy. 90% of this event is in milestones. ALL progressions get the same milestones, not just TB to valiant. Banquet actually just puts all of them together.

Funny thing is unit to reward return of banquet milestones are vastly superior to what you get in cyber week for that 12k unit range.

it's still really damn good for valiant and absolutely insane value for uncollected and such. Banquet is ince again, as it always was, the great equalizer in progression

There will no longer be a point in pushing for progression titles if 2024 is the direction these things are going in. Paragons got everything we did, the title really is pointless

Think ill just stick to valiant so when next to progression come out i can reach that with little push this is what the crystal is gonna become if they continue this way of bundling

All I read was a bunch of word salad nonsense.
Valiant IS highly. What other progression title is higher than that?

we'r not saying TB and paragon shouldnt be getting stuff to progress, we're saying they shouldnt be getting the SAME stuff as valiants because that defeats the purpose of progression. Why would i care for progressing if ill get the same stuff as people 2 levels above me. The person who explored necropolis day 1 is getting the same stuff as someone who beat the act6 grandmaster one time. thats the point

The valiant title is purely ceremonial at this point. Good news is there’s no need to chase the next one.

Does anyone know when the next one is? My guess is near the end of 2025
