This is why this game can exist very long time even though many issues in-game like AI, bugs and out-game like communication or service! Because this community is so inconsistent, not unify and love FOMO lol
Why did you buy the original if you think it's a bad deal? If you thought it was a good deal, then you got what you purchased.
Are they not allowed to make their offers better?
Read the room bro… nobody said they regret buying the original offer. But for it to be the same offer jsut 3 days later with a much better upside? Feels predatory…
What exactly do you mean by 'predatory'??
Kabam releases and offer, not enough people buy it, they make the offer better.
What exactly is wrong in that?
The longer they wait to change it, the more people there will be who will say "nooo why did you change it"
Predatory in that you are selling on FOMO.
The “better” offer is not an upgraded offer intended for everyone as you suggested in your reply. I’d venture to believe that wasn’t the case. It’s for valiant, on the webstore, with a purchase limit.
I would be more inclined to believe that those that bought the $50 offered from Friday feel bad after opening their crystals and now feel even worse seeing this offer with the key, had they waited 3 days.
Yea, pretty bad business model for the ones we already purchased 4 bundles on Friday. The keys should had been included in the original bundles as well.
Where are you CMs? Show your face and give some explanation
I hate to admit it because overall I really like the CM, but it's pretty obvious that after Jax and Mike the communication and more importantly the community engagement has been null. Discord notifications with links to the forums and livestreams once per month are not enough

Its your job as a human being with free will to control your own FOMO....
The lack of communication about this is nothing more than predatory. It’s very obvious the intention was that you would buy the first deal, see that there’s a better version in the webstore, and then say “well I bought the other one and this one is straight up better so I might as well buy this one too.” Or it could artificially inflate the value of this bundle by getting players to compare the two $50 deals while forgetting that they’re still spending $50
I don’t understand why companies do this, it’s painfully obvious why they choose not to communicate about these things. Is the extra money you would gain by doing this worth the player’s trust you lose in the process?
This feels really bad as someone who got all 4 before this, they could have said something , i looked for a mile stone on the store page as well and was like " huh guess they aren't doing it for this event, i really hope they do something about it and give people who got the previous deals the keys

I don't have an issue with them releasing different deals throughout the event. Good on them, but the communication has been really poor. What's wrong with laying out an event from beginning to end and letting players make educated decisions?
If they did, then this thread would never have come about and the people that were planning on spending would have still picked up the original offer plus this one. Since there is no single official source for information, it's hard enough to keep up with information on top of the limited information released.

Tbf a entire key is unexpected. They did not give a whole crystal last year. And it’s a common understanding that whatever kabam does should not be 100% expected for the following year.

Fair, but deals were going to come regardless, people jumped on buying on day one that's on them.

The unit bundles were expected and the fact that those things are available days after the event release sadly were predictable, but my point it's that they decided to change the $50 Bundle at the middle of the event without any warning or message or anything. It's just sleazy

I get it, i guess you gotta choose to believe they changed it at last min or this sale was actually planned. I personally would have waited; but i get your frustration.
That's some straight up BS to go along with the rest of the BS banquet. I mean one of my Superior crystals gave me a whole entire 1 mutant sig stone. One. ONE. Thanks Kabaam. I'm done spending

Hi my name is Chris Hansen.... What you doing man?...No no no have a seat please... What are you doing?
Hi Chris. I'm here to meet up with a 10 year old...offer, lol

That's terribly disingenuous to act like they should have known that Kabam would change the offer. If Walmart changes prices on a random Wednesday from what they were Tuesday, no one complains, because that's how things go. This wasn't a "check in everyday because the deals are constantly mutating" scenario or "48 hour deals from the 20th to the 3rd" and even in the 48hr scenario, people would call shenanigans if the 3rd offer was the same 2nd one, but with superior bonus stuff added for the same price.

Walmart changes their prizes EVERYDAY rofl.. Its like buying something before Black Friday and saying "Wtf you sold it to me for more a week ago"... X-Mas deals have been a thing for YEARS

Walmart also does price adjustments within 30 days of purchase.

Depends on the product, also THEY DID MENTION XMAS DEALS ON THE **** LIVESTREAM.

They will return almost anything and let you repurchase it at the lower price.
Kabam mentioned x mas deals and now you're shocked there are x mas deals. Just say the bad crystal rng left you mad. No need to take this pathetic high ground about marketing and whatnot

They are actually a fairly reputable business.
Ok fine Walmart is great... I guess the other guy complaining and using Walmart as an example used a terrible example... I guess you could ask Kabam for a refund if you got the crystals unopened...
I don't usually complain about this, but cmon. It's such a drag to communicate these things?
I actually bought the 10x crystals bundle twice in the store and got the same bad pulls as everyone, but now turns out there are more offers in the units which It's alright (although the only way to know was in the game, but okay). What makes me angry It's the Valiant Banquet Bundle with 10x SBC and a KEY!.
COULDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING BEFORE? I mean, was it such a complicated thing to say something about it so we didn't feel even more scammed?!
Totally agree. This must be announced in advance for those who have bought the bundle before. So people like me who spend the money only received 20 stamps and other people will receive a key. It’s totally unfair.
