Thought I would add this to thread where I recently interacted with Kabams support team. I'm fully aware that I was unlikely to receive a positive outcome but still feel hard done by. Above is a series of screen shots evidencing kabam stating that the 'grand banquet' starts on the 20th December leading to belief that the offers seem we're the offers available.
Following my interaction with kabam support I was informed the 'grand banquet' started on the 23rd December, which contrasts the posts displayed on marvel contest of champions X account.
I admit to knowingly buying units I'm not requesting a refund but merely asking that my investment match what I would receive only 3 days later as I was under the impression the offers were what we would receive.
I feel my post was unlikely given the due care and attention due to this incorrect information given in response along with the incorrect information about the number of units I received, they missed the additional units
I think the main issue with the SBCs is we are unable to see the value of 300 units for the things that are coming out of them. Most of the rank up items that are coming from the crystals are already available and all the good stuff has a really low drop rate. Moving the rewards to milestones might not be as good as it sounds. May be next time you can consider adding the right value to the crystal we spent 300 units for, so that people will not feel underwhelming about the rewards.

Absolutely agree, If the milestones are the main offer and the crystals are the cherry on top then really they should have been selling the milestone rewards and the crystals should have been the bonus item not the other way around. Crystals are the purchase item so here’s where I expect to see some value for the units spent otherwise scrap the crystals and just do another store like the cyber weekend.
So kabam not doing anything else? This was the compensation?
Holiday gift might be
It's not really a holiday gift if it's compensation but it's a moot point, pretty much.
With no response yesterday, I think Kabam are banking on the holiday gift to offset negativity to the banquet. I think that the only realistic chance we have is for a Stark Foundation intervention at this point.
In 30 minutes of playing raids, I got more than 40 banquet crystals for opening. An excellent banquet failure.
And an abject one at that. Nobody's winning in this event except the uncollected/cavalier accounts who've lucked out and pulled 7* champs. It actually gets *more* disappointing the further on you are progression wise.
I think there should be more Units rewards in the milestone. Additional suggestion for next year to add variance high 6/7 star Rank up Gems which I think are great rewards.
Kabam never listen faithful players about improve this game and make a better entertainment.
We should make understand to Kabam that game is for players who invest time and money. It is not easy. Kabam should stop to be stingy !!
After this tragedy banquet event and their answer/ solution was a comedy … We should do a little boycott against Kabam who should listen really and reacting positively in game. If Players don't push Kabam positively, he won't make a change. This game can be better. We can that Kabam listen us well and react to find a good solution. It is not a good anniversary and end of year for players who spend a lot of in banquet , and nothing interesting for valiant players in function of units that spent .
Hope one day, Kabam listen players, and this game reaches its real potential.
soon this will reach 1000 comments , kabam this is it. these 1000 comments are the proof of your failure. this isnt just few members of the community who are upset with the event and the outcome. this is almost everyone who is paragon+ , these players are your most loyal players and are spenders(apart from contect creator whales) if this players base remains unsatisfied before this year ends , things would really look ugly going forwards

Best advice I can give you is maybe try to contact support and see if there's anything they can do. It's a long shot, but worth trying.
11400 shards for a tier 5 cat. ISO and gold for 300 units feels like a very very bad deal. I would like to see a new years event with significant crystals gifted to us with decent rewards to make up for the hundred of dollars I spent on things I can get within regular content. Disappointed to say the least
I've enjoyed the Banquet immensely. I'm a returning player, skipped last year and, I think, the one before, but I intentionally grinded units this summer to prepare for this December (and then took a break during the fall semester as I'm a teacher). I came in with 14k units and spent them all the first day, then kept grinding arena this past week to get (in the next few days) to the Isophyne milestone. I was a Paragon player, and this event pushed me to Valiant with the Milestone T4As. I also more than doubled my 7* roster over the past two weeks, including 4 I was able to open with shards in the banquet crystals. I needed all the catalysts I got in the crystals, and could honestly have used even more. This event pushed my account to the next level. I can now solely focus on 7*s over 6*s. This was a game changer for me.
That being said, if I hadn't saved all those units and been able to hit the realm event milestones, I would have found the banquet crystals a bit dry compared to the last time I remember getting them (greater gifting crystals in 2021?).
I grinded arena day out, day in, saved up my units and battle chips to 12 million + for this event. I spent 85k in battle chips and this is the junk I got…. Come on kabam, this use to be the event of the year, now it just a bunch of kabam comments how this is an amazing event…

Did the original $49.99 banquet deal come with a key? If not then that’s a slap in the face to everyone who bought it!
