The gift was very good though.
It does not make up for the 5,700 T6CC shards from my SBC last night but they did give a good gift for sure this year.

We can roughly estimate how much Kabam made from banquet, probably tens of millions USD
That's why Kabam can give 7* titan nexus bcos they reached their own financial target
In a way it's connected cos if Kabam isn't making money, all you get is a title and profile picture

Banquet is banqet hoping for Stark Foundation only that will save this event
Going into December I was expecting to go all in on the milestones and maybe get 2 R3s out of the Banquet as well get maybe 4-5 7*. In the last 3 days I have R3d 4 Champs, got 10 new Champs, including Enchantress who is now one of my R3s. I did buy the webstore banquet crystal with the lock key to get Sentinel and was successful. Oh and odds are I'll get another Titan pending the realm event reaching max goal.
It was good for me cause I prepped for the event. The crystals that everyone keeps complaining about I thought were at least useful compared to years previous. They weren't amazing and deservedly the low point of the event, but I used mostly everything I got out of them.
Between 10 free 7* including a new champion, a good chunk of the first few milestones (including a deathless piece) done for free pending you getting all the tickets, and then this Titan Nexus, a 2-3 gem and sig stones on top all without spending one single unit. The 10 year event was more than adequete.
I just feel that for the people that are upset with it, a lack of planning on your part doesn't mean Kabam did a bad job.
As said by a moderator, take the whole month of December into account:
- 10 7* as the 10-year anniversary, including a collector champion, Isophyne. And a compensation that I wouldn’t never have thought (2 7* Spider).
- A great gift for the end of year (I am Valiant).
- 7* Sinister was reachable.
- Some good things in the superior greater Banquet crystal, despite low rates.
- Some good and reachable rewards in the different events of this Banquet.
Of course, that’s not (as usual) what everybody wants. It’s quite impossible to satisfy reasonably the whole community.
But I really particularly enjoyed this month in my looong playing time on the game, in terms of items for me and more by seeing teammates not Valiant getting good things.
