    It’s a holiday in Canada today so they’re actually not open.

    Anyway, Crashed’s statement is probably all you’ll get until a post-event assessment like he did last year.
    Doesnt matter if holiday its their holiday break so they wont be back till event ends

    The holiday gift was amazing imo. People can say that the banquet and the gift are unrelated, but if the negative response caused the holiday gift to be amazing, then the two are connected. Anyway, I don't know what the OP expects at this point, a personal letter of apology?

    Impossible to verify.
    Saying the gift was amazing due to the negativity is a scapegoat and doesn't change anything really.
    The main problem is the direction in the future in the game. If the game is going to be based on patching holes its going to be awful.
    Yeah, I mean, you can say improving the gift in response to negative feedback is "patching holes," someone else can say it's "listening to the players and trying to make the situation better." Depends on perspective I guess.

    Didn't they also add crystals to the milestones over that initial weekend? I think I heard DLL say on his stream that was the liveops team that did that in response to the negative feedback?
    Anyway, I'm not trying to downplay the criticism, it would just be nice if people acknowledged the whole picture instead of being one-sided either in their attacks or defenses of the company.

    There are so many aspects from the event that were horrible. Lower points from stocking up or as they said in livestreams preparing for banquet. So people who can’t drop tons at one time like me dropped it over time to get 100 points per crystal. The drop of the banquet crystals with a key after the initial 3 days. Hyping it up that there would be less fillers which is all the crystals were filled with. I could go on and on, but they need to do something to make this right and not just pop their “compensation” behind more spending on a lackluster crystal. Extra points, extra crystals, just something. It’s all been discussed and good constructive thoughts have been given in that thread as well as some very harsh reality checks to kabam. It needs to be acknowledged when you have 33 pages of maybe 3 positive comments. Their compensation post on discord is already up to over 1200 middle fingers.
    So let me ask you, do you really consider materials that you NEED for ranking 7*s to be filler? Or are you disappointed that you didn't a million Titan shards?

    They should really make these changes so as to offer truce to the most irate crowd:

    - goodies to the final realm milestones, more titan shards , more crystals
    - compensate all Odin unit deal purchases with more SBCs ( 5 at least for every purchase)
    - Give everyone who bought the initial SBC deals , more banquet keys
    - Increase the rank Rewards payout massively , especially 2-3% above. This is their spender crowd. And they’ll lose them, if they don’t fix this.

    They keep threatening to quit, and yet we still seem to have the same number of them year after year. Sometimes coincidentally with the exact same names, imagine that. You're not going to believe this, but another player that chose the exact same name as you got fed up with the game and quit in 2023. What are the odds that you'd pick the same name as him and coincidentally start sounding the alarm about dissatisfied players quitting the game?

    Or, they can ignore the most irate crowd as being players that they could do without.

    Probably the most amusing thing about this is describing this as "a truce." Like, this is the least they could do. Anyone who thinks this is the least they could do is way too costly to keep as a player. The game would implode trying to keep them happy. It was not worth it to keep the players who said they would quit if Kabam released 5* champs (or 6* champs or 7* champs and are saying it already for 8* champs). It was not worth it to keep the players who said they would quit if kabam did not reverse 12.0 or eliminate DR. It is not worth it to keep players whose expectations are so disconnected from reality that they see the above as the least Kabam could do, because that says their actual expectations are vastly higher. Higher than that goes from being ridiculous to stupidly ridiculous.

    The people complaining are not the spender crowd. The spender crowd is currently spending on the event. The irate crowd is just that: the irate crowd. They keep threatening to quit, and yet we still seem to have the same number of them year after year. Sometimes coincidentally with the exact same names, imagine that.     Ehh you are right to a certain point. The non spender crowd is complaining a lot, the whales are whaling.. some casual spenders like myself looked at the crystals and decided not to spend.
    Whales will whale, non spenders won't spend, losing paying customers they already had sucks...
