Upgrade Idea by absorbing Lower Star Champs

As we progress through the game acquiring more 7* Champs, there is less use for lower star champs such as 1* and 2* champs. Therefore, it would be good if we could use the lower star champs as upgrades, as well as Iso and Catalysts.
For example, we can upgrade a 7* medusa using a 4* medusa by absorbing a certain percentage of resources from the 4* one. It should be a percentage like 80% or less because there is a cost in the conversion but still better than grinding to find all the resources.
There is also a trade-off as you lose the 4* medusa champ, that means you have one less champ available in the arena, quest or battleground etc.
Just an idea. If enough people like the idea then maybe Kabam can add this as a feature in a future release 👍

What Kabam can do however, is add quests for thronebreaker and up to use 4* or lower champs in quests to get more resources - gold, iso, catalysts, shards, etc. It ocassionally happens with the 1* and 2* arena but woule be nice to have it always available. I only use them now in daily quests ocassionally.
It is decisions you made to get you where you want or not. By selling those stars you got your upgrades but now you missed out on other opportunities, exactly like the post said 🤣
They can always wait until they acquire the same champions again in the future. If they choose to trade away a rare champ then it is just too bad. They only got themselves to blame as it is their own actions.
There are limited resources so people need to do what they need at each stage of their own games Lol
