The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

For those who have seen the deep dive. What do you think about him?

I like everything about his design apart from one thing…
I really don’t like that he loses health for throwing special attacks at max muscle mass. Any mechanic where the attacker loses health by hitting the opponent, I really dislike.

He is literally a great bullseye counter. Bleed immunity triggers pursuit. If you don't have pursuit you can still hit him while stunned, and take the special on the face since you're indestructible. Not to mention you can block his specials thanks to reinforcement passive.

Interesting that they rather release specific counter champs instead of rebalance the respective defenders in a good manner. I mean from a business perspective it does make sense..

Always been that way. Been doing it for 10 years.

Does anyone know the background behind the 31.8% chance for muscle mass? It just seems like a really specific number and I’m wondering if there’s lore tied into it

I really like how they've started giving mutants inbuilt crit rate modifiers because they're the only class in the game that REALLY NEED IT.
I wish they started it sooner but it's good that they've started now.

Also he seems like the BEST bullseye counter so far because not only is he NOT SLOW but he is also very sustainable and safe.
I still think dazzler is the fastest but him being safer and easier to use (for bullseye specifically) makes him better in my opinion.

Negasonic AKA the HARD BULLSEYE COUNTER is not the best at either speed nor survivability.

If the special does KO the defender, you don't take damage because the recoil triggers after throwing a special.

Dazzler needs the dupe for the pursuit while Gentle doesn't though

Sinister is the best imo. Bully can be second best.

But if you have skills, starky is the fastest and best bg bullseye counter

It's not like you're only using one special the whole fight

You can end your combo with a light attack to consume a muscle mass and apply a rupture debuff. If you follow that up with a special you won’t be at max muscle mass so you won’t trigger the recoil. The damage will be less but you can use that to control whether or not you want to trigger it. Also at max sig you’ll only take 2.5% of your health as damage while unstoppable. I think he’s very well designed and hope to pull him.

It seems to me though that if you finish the combo with a light attack and give in to the 2nd special attack, then due to 60 fps and timings between hits, some hits of the 2nd special attack can go into the block 👀

Yes but if you are able to ramp up and use the sp2, and it kos, you shouldn’t take dmg
