Thoughts about Champions for 2025

As we know every year with some exceptions, lately 23 champions with 2 a month except December. We already know 2 of those champions: Okoye and Gentle. We also know we are getting 3 Eidol champions. Also it is quite possible Ares will be one of those champions. Here are my thoughts so far about champions coming in 2025.

First off I believe we will get 1 Eidol champion every 4 months. This I think as it spreads them out over the course of the year. Why every 4 months is because 12 months divided by 3 Eidol champions thus one of them every 4 months. My Guess is the first Eidol champion will come either next month or in April. As for the other 2, one will come between May and August and the other will come between September and December.

Beyond that I believe it is quite possible we will see the remaining Summoner Choice 2020 Champions of Morgan Le Fay and Blue Marvel. I believe this based on how Kabam has bringing in other Summoner Choice Champions who lost. I also know Kabam decided on champions to enter not only based on bringing in those champions who lost in previous Summoner's Choice, but on the story in the contest.

A champion I could see coming in are Lizard (considering him being a part of the Oscorp battle arena).

With the total number of champions coming in 2025 most likely being 23 we can minus 2 as we have this month Gentle and Okoye. Then we know 3 Eidols coming in which brings us to 18 champions still to come. Since we can all agree Lizard is coming in this brings the number down to 17 champions.

From those numbers and information already stated here is things to consider in February they have brought champions celebrating Black History Month, Woman's History in March, and of course in October (Horror/scary type champions). Also we have had multiple times that we got two spider-verse champions in April. With that in mind Lizard could come in April or October. If he comes in April I'm going to need to think of possible Spider-verse champions who would best compliment him. I personally he is going to come in October as I think it could work along with Hobgoblin.

Beyond that I'm trying to think other information given, but wanted to at least get the conversation going. Hoping a state of the battleream/hexagon champion class image will be released end of this month or beginning of next.

    I don't get my hopes up as the fact they added him to the background of that particular arena and it has been a while. Much like they tease champions in synergy, videos and other means I believe Lizard being in the background is a hint and considering how popular he is and the fact that he is one of the most recognizable characters in the Spider-verse I believe him showing up this is possible. After all we have Sandman, Scorpion, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Shocker, Mysterio and Vulture, so having another character who has been part of the Sinister Six would be fitting.

    Thank you for sharing your opinion. We shall see by the end of the year how this works out. My guess by your comment that you don't think, but I'm also guessing you like others hope to be wrong as you'd like Lizard in the game.

    And? I distinctly remember ares being teased once and he's only just now being added this year, supposedly.

    If I’m not confused about how the new Titan will work, I think the first Eidol champion will be in March.

    Of the six entering the Titan update in March, Dazzler is joining, and there will be one old champion. That leaves four more new champions.

    Gentle and Okoye from Jan take two, and then the last two spots being the two Feb champions.

    Although it’s possible to get one Eidol in Feb, and thus have the last two spots be Feb champion #2 and Mar champion #1, its not as clean a break to have a March champions immediately pullable from the Titan 1-2 weeks of the official release (as people may feel less inclined to buy the early release bundle).

    Don't forget the only other thing we have HARD concrete evidence on is that 90's Blue Team Cyclops is getting a complete overhaul which should be sometime this year.

    Also, we're getting either Mr. Knight or The Shroud later this year (generally been around the August/September slot).

    Then, another speculative is "Who is the 'Psychotherapy' Synergy with Gentle" - the most likely and only real guess, based mostly on their interactions in X-Men Red, is Jean Grey

    And "Who is the 'Prodigal Sons' synergy with Black Panther CW" - people have speculated Legion, Daken, other Wakanda characters, or it could even be Ares who is probably joining the contest this year.


    So, that adds *likely to be in 2025*: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Mr. Knight/Shroud, Prodigal Son

    Gentle was supposed to be in Black Panther synergy, as one of the CCP told me, but he still hasn't been added, lol. I don't know when this bug will be fixed, but it looks like it will be for a long time, or until the next update.

    Got this odd feeling we are getting Yelona Belova just in time for thunderbolts movie, April or May.

    As well as Spider Noir, who could be a 2026 champion and I wouldn’t be surprised, maybe 2025 but we will see.

    If I’ve got this right I should find a crystal ball asap.

    Dang, that would be amazing to have a female surfer. Another chance at making an awesome Silver Surfer, or to even buff the original Silver Surfer via synergy.

    I still think (and yes I know many people think it's impossible, because he is too strong for the game's framework and he is a child), but Franklin Richards is indeed the key character of the July movie. Kabam in such cases to the Marvel Cinematic Universe releases significant character/s from the movie.

    Look back to 2023:
    Quantumania had Cassie Lang (she's a significant character in the movie). Guardians of the Galaxy 3 had Adam Warlock, and he's a significant character (considering that many other characters were in the game at the time).

    So I definitely think Yelena Belova will be released in May with U.S. Agent (or O'Grady), and July will literally be the first the appearance of Franklin Richards, who will play the main role in the film already in July, as I think, really gives every chance for him to join (well, come on, I hope it won't be Shalla-Ball or someone from the background)

    Just checked something a moment ago. Kabam on their Twitter/X account posted the hexagons for each class back in 2024 on January 25. It's not a guarantee that they will post on the same date, but perhaps near the end of this month they will follow a similar pattern. I hope so, but as always wait and see, but glad to find the exact date for a reference.

    @KabamPinwheel can you add further insight sir?
