Wong, Hype, or Korg? 7* Selector.

I have 2 r3 mystics already (Kushala and Chavez) plus Sasquatch, wiccan and Hood I might rank up. Hype is just an OG beast. But I heard Wong is good for necropolis. I have a maxed 6* Aegon though so I'm stuck.

    Hyperion for the hype

Yeah, that’s a tough one. Hype will be awesome for you eventually but he’s gotta have the dupe to be lights out. I personally find the Wong ramp in Necro to be pretty painful, but if you are skilled and don’t mind his playstyle he’s definitely a cheaper Necro option that going all-out Aegon.

Pretty much my thoughts on this dilemma. I've never used him so I watched some vids on his ramp up, and I'm not a huge fan of keeping all his spells up. Having to start from scratch if something happens like an opponent not throwing their specials would be painful. Although from what I've heard he's also the best revive saver.

I would take Hype but Wong is far, far cheaper than Aegon if you want to do Necro.

Wong is a must have, hype can wait.

I will say, I thought I would hate Wong for this reason, but I think I only ever lost a spell once(Dragonman) in Necro. And I had never used him before my run.

If Hype is one of your favorites, you made the right call.

    I would love the 7*

Pulled him 2 days ago on my alt account, took him r2, and jumped into necro.

    First necro run with #10yearchampions.

All of that from a single champ..
You clearly don't won't all of that.
Congrats on new Korg, korg op. Lesgo

I've never understood the hype around hype. He can be annoying on defense if you don't have a nullify or power control champ, but that's about it. Offensively just don't find him interesting, and he doesn't really have any utility to speak of. So what am I missing that so many people love him?

He hits hard, like super hard, and can spam specials. Also very easy to use.

He hits pretty good, my r1 unduped isn’t really useful because well he’s unduped, but he still hits for like 15k mediums which is pretty good for a r1 imo, he doesn’t have utility but he can just brute force a fight with no problems

Easy access to buffs, crazy powergain, poison immunity and hits like a truck. Great attacker, decent defender, whats not to like ? 🤔

I mean back when he first released I can see that being more then enough to make him top tier, but I'm not really seeing his usefulness in today's contest and think it's more a nostalgia rank up/pick then him actually providing that much value right now.

You must have very high champion standards to put Hyperion as "mid"

I mean not really, damage needs to be there, but at this point of the game, if you don't have some useful utility then you are just making things harder on yourself for no reason.

Poison immunity, regen, easy access to fury and the best power gain in the game that allows you to spam specials without ever hitting the opponent. And damage. Plus a really aggro belt. That’s what Hyp brings to the table.

I almost never see him in BG though. I think he's more of a casual's type of champ.

I don’t know when he entered the pool, maybe there aren’t that many sevens running around yet. My guess is that a lot of newer players may have missed him because there are so many quality champs available on the five and six pool. Hyp’s biggest sin is that he’s been around forever. His heyday was back when fives were top of the game.

Done with the run. Just because of one champ.
One of the cheapest of my runs too.
    9 revives + 3 revives GM.

R3 mutant gem, probably going to unduped Sinsiter.
    First dupe on sunny.
    Sig 40 midseer.
    New, chokula, juggy and whiger.
    First dupe on horsey.
Wonger can chill on the bench till he is needed again(probably never)
