Battlegrounds is this supposed to be fun to play?

This my loosing streak 8 in a row battleground matches where 2 of them were for point farming i admit it but after that for regular 6 matches i encountered roasters far beyond my level all 7 star rank 3s or ascended champions no less than 25000 pi and my roaster is not as extensive despite being valiant i still have 5 stars in my roaster how is this fair matchmaking ik i take advantage of this too but 6 in a row really and one thing in my observation is it mostly happens with elder mark matchmaking if you go with energy easy opponents mostly thronebreaker all this high end roaster sitting in diamond 5 not even in vibranium and neither i am unable to farm points nor progress..is this common or rarity? Have you experienced it as well?

BGs has a ceiling for every player. You have hit yours. The ceiling might increase a bit in a couple days as bigger accounts move up. Might not- it’s not like making GC matters much to bigger accounts. It is what it is…

I'm in plat 1, tb, it's like mostly against paragon or valiant, not so many tb. Last time I play, I won, that guy is valiant. Idk, maybe I'm just lucky. Sometimes won, sometimes lost, it's okay, it's part of the game.

Even then, I like to play bgs. Maybe if I always lost then I will not like it lol

I agree improvement in skill is definitely helpful in matchups where you are the underdog but there's a point to where you can be a savant of absolute flawless gameplay and strategy and still lose to a noob because your attacking rank2 7*s with rank2 6*s and max 5*s and vice versa 😆 🤣 I've had more than usual matches to where my skill is solely how I won and I was surprised to say the least that I won. They should focus on their strategy I'd advise

I've been having several matches where my strategy won even though I played very well they also did. I just started paying much closer attention to when I use defenders and use attackers that can handle a wide variety of matches instead of worrying about the best champ in the scenario

Nah, you wouldn't lose to a noob unless they were better than you. Even if they have 7R3s, unless you're trotting out like trash defenders, they'd still need to fight reasonably ok to put up a decent score, unless again, you're just getting destroyed yourself. In which case, is it the "noob's" fault, or yours?
Now, if you're an ok player, and you're going up against good players with stacked decks, then yeah, you'll lose. But then, that's only fair, right?

You have a lot to progress in the department of roster depth. New Players are getting Valaint in 2-3 months (not going to include alt account runs). Every kid and their pets in the block are valiants.

Battlegrounds is open competition

You will meet all kinds of opponents, some stronger than you

The stronger ones will move on over time and you won't be losing so much by then

Agreed. My main account is far from FTP but I do have a FTP valiant account that I run in BG as well.

The matchmaking in the victory track is non-existent. They’ll put you against whoever regardless of how strong/weak your account is. Their system for matchmaking only kind of works in the GC around the mid level when the point system actually does what it’s supposed to do and finds opponents within the same range of points to match you against. But then they reset the points at the end of the 4 weeks and dump everyone back into the VT which creates another mad scramble for the first 2-3 weeks of every season where you can get matched against literally anyone. They need to just get rid of the victory track altogether and let the points stay persistent (if not indefinitely than at least a minimum of 3 months to 1 year before resetting them). If they want à less complicated meta for newer players or players for whom BGs isn’t a priority then they should make a separate casual mode.

that’s nothing, I point farmed for so so long. Roughly 2 hours just for a 7*. Ended up with punk so sorta worth it.

So, its globalization at most.

But what I want to say is that every one you fought deserved to win because they didnt paused as you didnt mention anything about this.

So their roster may be better than yours , also, they may learned more how to dex against the champs you sent as your defenders.

Try to rank up your champs and watch vids on how to dex.

Im currently on Diamond II ,almost on Vibranium, my goal.

High ranks are reserved for higher players with good deck and skills.

Technically, I don't think it's point farming if you're actively trying to win but losing 2-1 or 2-0 all the time. I'm not really sure what that's called. Just playing and losing, I guess.

just do the 3 fights for completion point every 2 days and ignore winning or losing . The current meta is pretty restrictive so it may not be fun if u dont have a huge roster .

I played since season 1 of the battlegrounds and I seen improvements in my results every season

I did not make it into GC in earlier seasons bcos they kicked everyone to Bronze every start of the season so my objective was just to win matches to get points for the battlegrounds events

Once they changed and GC players get kicked to diamond 5, I been in GC every season bcos it takes less fights to get to GC

Aim for improvement every season and there's always the next season if this season doesn't work out well for you

I have played BGs in my both main and alt account.
I can tell you that there is still some kind of matchmaking that happens.
I did not face that many blubbriest whales in alt that I faced in main.
Blubbriest being multiple r3 sig 200 champs.

You can't use the excuse of they have 7 star r3s. You get 7 star r3s too then. If you can't, skill issue. I am f2p and have 7. The they have a whole deck of r3s I can't get one cuz I'm f2p is stupid. If you are good at playing, it won't matter. My deck is a couple r3s, r2s and high rank 6 stars. I haven't been stuck in seasons, I get uru every time. It is literally a skill issue

I'm exactly the same and alot of other people are too, ignore the people saying it's a skill issue. I'm paragon and have a decent roster of champs but unless you have very specific champs for that meta you ain't winning a single match. It's biased and unfair and needs to change.

Or, go complete more content and open crystals to acquire more champs. That's the point of bgs. To have a wide variety in your roster.

Honestly paragon isn't strong enough to win matches in Battlegrounds

When I was paragon I faced valiants all the time

Den I became valiant and now I face whales accounts all the time

It isn't unfair when you lose
It isn't fair only when you win

Battlegrounds is this supposed to be fun to play?
