Disappointed in the game, as a returning player.

For a little backstory, started playing in 2017, and was on and off for a few years, and then ultimately decided to uninstall the game completely (around 2019-2020). I came back recently to see if the game was left off the same, or maybe even better, than what I left it as. When I came back, I was pretty thrilled to see it still kind of active, yet something felt off. I noticed BG’s were a thing, and Deathless. I noticed 7* champs were added, and I chat in global for a minute, just to find out people are saying the game is dying. Multiple large creators are now MIA or hardly ever upload anymore. The game is stale, and I wanted to figure out why, as a returning player. Well, first thing is that, events are now scarce, or not even worth it. Kabam has given up on any dolphin accounts or F2P players, so they can milk their whales a few more times before everyone realizes that the same cycle of release content for top players, to get them to spend more money on characters who are ultimately going to be replaced by 8* champions in the *somewhat near* future. As well as this, nobody at kabam seems to care at all about any possible returning player, as only the new players get the benefits of the new log in calender as well as buffed exploration rewards that I didn’t get because I decided to explore the paths *2 WEEKS* before they were buffed. I don’t know if I’m going to keep playing after this. No new years event, valentines event is said to be giving less units, but the whales are still going to get their crystals and “keep the game alive” so be happy I guess. **** the normal community.

Not to let y'all forget; the new 4*-7* crystals are $10 a pop and you need at least 55 for a NORMAL 7*, let alone Luke cage, but they don’t have the funds to make events bc they need to put in “new content” like Aries, for the top 1% of players, who just so happen to fund the whole of kabam, because that’s the only person they cater towards. Good luck being a normal lad with a 9-5 and a kid, because you either need to be piss rich, or have all the time in the world, to do whatever you need in this game.

First of all I said they did it *after* I explored the nodes.
Second, that cycle of bringing out star rank of champs is a game killer, no matter how long you think you’re going to wait for the next ones, it’s not going to matter when it’s the same cycle for 10+ years.
Third, the fact that Brian grant didn’t leave yet so it is okay, doesn’t mean it is. It’s been DOGSHIT as a returning player. Test crystal or not I’m putting my mind out there so they can understand what returning players are actually thinking. The community like you is what makes the game worse and why I quit in the first place.

it isn’t a game killer, it’s what’s keeping the game alive, if we were still on 4*s then wth ? Where would we be ?
