Is BG still the grind worth ?

The GC circuit rewards haven't been upgraded for 16 months, if you guys at kabam want battleground to become a dead piece of content, you should keep ruining your game like this. You guys are really far removed from your player base

It's something you can't revive through or even boost up for.
I'm not a top player but I believe it is the mode where the top players in the game are determined.
Additionally, I know everyone is different, but for me it's like, what's the point of constantly improving your roster if you’re not playing the mode where skill and competition are tested most immediately?
If BG didn't exist, I'd still play the game, but a lot of the incentive I have to chase rewards would be diminished.
Draw your own conclusions…
Case in point - season 26 feels pretty worthless to grind right now. Seasons 27 and 28 should feel just a worthless, except I actually have to try and put in time and effort with both seasons just to get the dark plumes for Phoenix.
It's a really crappy tactic to keep you invested without changing a single thing about the rewards for 1.5 whole years.
But how do you avoid the biggest adrenaline rush of all—beating another player in a direct competitive setting? If it wasn't about competition, then what was it all about in the first place?
Unhealthy levels no
Stress on 'Unhealthy'
If you grind to get the resources to build a strong battlegrounds deck and you get Celestial 1 rewards which doesn't give you anything significant to improve your deck further so what's the point of grinding in the first place if the rewards are not good
The only players rewarded for grinding are the youtubers who have something to livestream that is entertaining and repeatable
Bare minimum and call it a day.
Kabam is lucky they never release it on mobile
Meanwhile mcoc is going to windows to get more players
It's not like anyone in this thread (me included) would be a Celestial player if the Celestial rewards were made better.
And the lower tier BG rewards are still better than 90% of the other stuff in the game, including Arena.
And it takes way less time.
But modes like Arena are safe: zero competition, zero stakes, and no risk of losing your pride.
So Arena becomes "the best value" and BG becomes "not worth it."
Every smart player camps in Uru 3 bcos GC rewards are not worth grinding for
You don't get anything when you lose which is far more likely than doing arenas which is almost free (a small gold cost)
Using energy also doesn't give much points for the solo and alliance battlegrounds events
It's a real job for young gamers that pays you a salary and there are generous sponsors like Nvidia who wants to sell more graphics cards to gamers
It's an organic and self sustaining growth for these games
Mcoc is considered dying relative to these E Sports games
I do Arena and BG and everything else.
Some people in this thread were saying BG is completely useless to do, which is different I guess than saying whether it is worth the grind.
What does grinding BG even mean though?
At a certain point in GC we all hit our skill and roster ceiling and grinding won't really produce any results anyway.
So it's playing it while we're mostly winning matches and then stopping after it becomes counterproductive.
For some people that point is Vibranium, for others it's Uru, for others Mysterium, etc.
I'm questioning myself if it's worth it to build a full deck of 7* rank 3 and 4 for the near future
What's there to play for in battlegrounds?
Bragging rights?
Bragging rights probably not a thing as no one really knows or cares who anyone is, other than like the familiar top names who always end up in Celestial.
