I implore the rest of you guys to join me since it’s all that’s left to do, the gap isn’t getting any shorter, there is no “comebacks” or “miracles” on the way. This isn’t the comic book that the champs were released in (well most of them since Morningstar is … you know, fanmade), this is real life. And unfortunately real life kinda sucks. But is a life in denial really a life worth living? Do yourself a huge favor and moving forward, vote for x-23, and if it’s possible, ask Kabam to change your vote for you. There’s no point in voting for rogue let alone voting for 3rd party candidates (anyone who wasn’t rogue or x-23) who had no chance in the start. As a matter a fact I would like to congratulate the whole cast of Deadpool and Wolverine for a stunning performance to all who were involved. The MCU was really in danger and man, they really dug the MCU out of that hole. I was starting to think of switching to repping DC but Ryan Reynolds, man HE SURE CHANGED MY MIND. I swear but the one who really deserved to be a part of the MCU’s revival was Laura’s actor: Dafne Kene.
A little context about Laura’s actor see, after Logan (2016) (Yes X-23 was in ANOTHER movie before Deadpool and Wolverine I can’t believe it either) Laura received a lot of harassment by a very creepy individual known as Shadman: a depraved content creator who made “fanmade adaptations” of her. I’m not encouraging anyone depraved enough to look up what I’m talking about, but the fact of the matter is when it comes to fan made adaptations for Laura, do we really want Shadman’s disgusting excuse of a “fan-made adaptation” of Laura (Dafne Kene) to be the only one available for us “long time marvel fans” to remember about her? Laura’s fanmade adaptations (both the actor and the character) deserve to be recognized in a larger franchise and in a much more positive light. As I’m typing this, MCOC has MILLIONS of active users worldwide RIGHT NOW, and I’m sure a big percentage of them are marvel fans. If Laura wins, it would be a disservice, NO, a CRIME, if Kabam fumbled her buff. Laura deserves a more honorable fanmade depiction to be remembered by and I’m sure if you vote for her in MCOC, it will triple, (maybe even quadruple) your chances of getting Dafne’s number (She might even marry you).
Also wait a MINUTE. I was a huge Laura main in the amazing gaming franchise marvel vs capcom 3!!!! Oh my god I mean you had your magnetos, your vanilla wolverines, and of course your doctor dooms, but LAURA? She had some of the smoothest animations in the game and was an underrated last stand unit who really helped me and other members of the FGC (another brilliant community) muscle out 1 v 3’s when it came down to it. Sure Kabam has vowed to not change any of the rework vote champs’ animations but what do I know, that might be French for “we’re changing the animations anyways”! It would really bring back a lot of MVC3 nostalgia if we brought Laura into the game. (Trust me, if you weren’t here for the arcade saga, MCOC is indeed aware of MVC’s existence; you didn’t expect mcoc to just GIVE you a chance at a 4-6 star Thanos (Marvel Super Heroes (1995) the notable successor to 1994’s X-men Children of the Atom) outside of Banquet did you?) You know who else was in MVC3? Nobody ABSOLUTELY NOBODY, all their spots got taken by those stupid Capcom characters so that should DEFINITELY change your mind if nothing else.

NO. You have a choice between EITHER of the current Top-2 champs, if you want to switch from any of what could be considered “3rd party champs”, to one of the front runners, to battle it out between those Top-2.
