Apparently, pausing fights to intentionally prolong the fight and end it in 20 seconds using certain "techniques" is enough to bypass the incredibly sophisticated cheat detection system present in battlegrounds. I would guess that this system seems to be satisfactory to the team behind this area of the game, as a very clear example of the above-mentioned behavior has been present at the top of the leaderboard (Celestial V-IV) for at least two weeks. I would like to know when this account (and many, many similar examples) will be permanently removed from the game to allow passionate players to keep participating in a fair environment for incredible rewards, including tier 2 alloy.

Thankfully, the account got suspended just recently. Only took them to finish the victory track
and cheat their way to Celestial IV with 600+ points, stealing points from other players for over a week.

Bg bans usually happen in waves. That might be why there is a delay

Where do I report cheaters. Just came across two in a row that probably used some program to make them choose my players in bg.

The only way that the game chooses your own players for you, is is there is some type of connection “Delay/Lag”, where you think you are selecting yours, but the servers didn’t see that transmitted to there in time, so just random champ gets picked.

So, in your specific case here, NO, opponent can not control your own device. (there may be plenty other things to report them on, blatant too quick of fights, etc, but that is not your case. And deserves retracting your other threatening or wishing harm to those players separate post you just made).

Also happens in cases where it is quite apparent that there is a connection issue (or even if you have a crash/restart, you'll see that your “Picks” have progresses randomly during the time you were restarting and getting back into the match (provided it wasn’t bad enough that it just resulted in automatic Forfeit).

Haven't heard this cheating complaint before. At least it's a new one. And yes, it was your connection.

This is why it is against the rules to call out cheaters by name on the forums. No matter how certain a player is that someone is cheating, there's often a pretty good chance they are wrong. However, that is not an easy bell to unring once you put people's names out there. Who knows how many people might think this is actually possible.
