I take it back, I’m complaining again about BG’s. Sue me.

Genuinely, what data have you gathered that prompted you guys at Kabam to make this change?
By doing this you’re basically shoe horning people into having only the most simple and easy nukes in their decks.
You’re taking out the creativity aspect of deck building entirely, and you’re somehow adding even more RNG to the draft phase.
Whoever gets the most nuke champs throughout the draft, will just win no matter what.
Why would you revert a change to the points system, that mostly everyone liked and approved of?
Especially when this mode is already probably the most disliked part of the entire game.
Genuinely Kabam, this has to be one of the most tone deaf decisions I’ve ever seen.
I love this game and the mode mostly, but this is honestly just making me not want to play the mode at all.

I like the change, it seems to discourage pausing, and helps those who use suicide masteries a little bit by encouraging quick kills

Good thing that change is only for this season,
Or that's what Kebem said in announcement.

    I don't mind it.
I was already prone to nuking defenders while losing a bunch of health.
So this rewards my lack of skill I guess.

I’m curious to hear your perspective then, do you like the fact that it will feel easier to win more matches- in order to get the plume needed for Phoenix?
Or do you think it should be a bit more difficult, and that she should be more of a trophy champ?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, from what you just commented.

I don't really care about Phoenix, so I haven't looked into what it takes to get her...
Anyway, I agree that they should reward less points for time and more points for remaining health, as that's more indicative of playing with skill...
Some of us lack skill, so this might be slightly beneficial.
It's not going to push me into Celestial or anything, and I don't think the mode will die, that seems alarmist.
It's just another change, everything changes, new nodes, new rules, new champs....
Each one of us has to decide whether we want to keep playing or if it's no longer fun....

It also encourages people to play all one specific way. Nuketown central. You want to have fun testing out a new champ? Guess what, unless that new champ can do fights in 30-45 seconds- you’ll lose every round.
I’m calling it now, you’ll see almost nothing but Kate, Hulkling, CGR, Juggs, and a few others.
Being a smart and strategic player, will mean almost nothing- if your opponent just has nothing but cheesy nuke champs drafted.
Even if you last round trap them, because 10-15 seconds could now mean the difference between a win and a loss- pretty much regardless of how much health either of you do or don’t lose. This is not a healthy change for the mode, objectively speaking.
Under the previous scoring system, 15 seconds was worth 1250 points. Under the new scoring system, 15 seconds will now be worth 1875 points, a difference of 625 points.

That doesn't seem high enough to warrant people claiming this will doom the game mode.
Curious if this change might making running Suicides viable in BG?

Agreed. It feels like they are simply playing with the point system to create some kind of "new" and "fun" experience to the game mode while they actually deliver a reward update.

This change is huge, speed will be the overall go too during the draft process without even caring about finishing 100% health or utility champs that much.

I am not daubting it can be kinda fun and exciting for lower tiers; but what about higher tiers? Most nuke metas are for the most part not even welcomed. Now we're talking about nuking point systems regardless the meta.

Originally, there used to be players who ran suicides in BG. Now they're non existent

@Alone13 , Klobberin meant just your EMAIL (to make private), not your entire profile. Those are 2 different settings available (right under each other).

If it's totally private, wouldn’t be able to see prior help requests/posts/ etc, or send you direct msg replies.
