The downfall already started when Brian was forced to leave! You can’t tell me anything about community when we all allowed him to be treated this way.

BG made his choices. Every single one in 4loki is a whale. They didn't care if brian was losing the prestige race. Leaving was the right thing for him to do. He stopped doing what he did best. He stopped being the Number 1 f2p endgame player. He taught me how to be an efficient f2p god. But I never let that limitation blind me from the truth, i.e. the business kabam is at the end of the day.
Don't drag Brian in this matter. People come and go. He realised it was not worth it for him. So he did the best what he should be doing for himself.
I read most of the posts on Crashed's thread and watched some of the videos. I'm not really sure how Kabam can possibly satisfy everyone since the specific complaints are so varied. Yes, there is a common thread of displeasure over things like bugs, monetization, lack of communication, etc. But that's a tall order for any company to fulfill; basically, change everything about yourself for a player group that Kabam itself continuously claims is not a relevant portion of the player base. I just don't know how the disgruntled players can be optimistic for the long term. Yes, maybe they'll get some better rewards or compensation out of this, but there wasn't one specific thing the forumites/youtubers are asking for. I think that would've been easier to get both for them and for Kabam to deliver.
It's also possible that with so much going on in the world, some players are focusing their pent-up frustrations and putting them on the game. Sort of how weird things happened during covid because people were already so unhappy about their own lives....
Weren’t most of us just united in a similar fashion 3 months ago? Did all the displeasure and uproar during the Banquet event and trash crystals ever lead to anything? Was there ever even a retrospective post from Kabam about that event saying, “we hear you, we need to do better” like they did for the 2023 banquet?

Don't you get it? People can't admit that Brian left because he chose to. That would mean they'd have to take personal responsibility for their own lives too. So it becomes: "Brian was forced out!"

Time for another session of armchair psychology Dr. Phil? Literally every single thread and video about the boycott and the displeasure was about the state of BGs in general did you even bother watching any videos before coming here and parroting the usual?

Vega's video literally started out talking about Raids; half the posts on Crashed's thread are talking about all sorts of various complaints. Where is the unity? And what is the unity about? Just unhappiness with Kabam overall? Ok.

You got it all wrong. It’s just frustrated people complaining about the game due to their miserable existence. They don’t have any valid complaints against the game. Just taking out their anger on kabam because the game developers are a soft target.

Vegas video start talking about BGs, and then Raids which was the last drop. It was the BG update with no update that triggered all of this. You should watch it again. Maybe, just maybe that triggered and exposed EVERYTHING, that is going wrong and piled up. But to you is a bunch of addicts with mommy and daddy issues hiding in a basement complaining just for sport.

That's only the first half of the video, the other half is about BGs, I figured you didn't watch them thanks for confirming. As for the posts on Crashed's thread, clearly you also didn't read those because more than half are about BGs. Are there some outliers? Of course, easiest way for people with actual dumb complaints to get attention: post your complaint on the master thread. I just don't get why you're so mad and annoyed that people want change, if it's not your problem cause you just began playing then good for you I'm glad you have so much content left for you to do, for some of us who have finished nearly all endgame content BGs is all we have. It's the only game mode that keeps is interested in the game mode, of course we're going to complain and find a way to make them listen if they haven't been listening for the past 12-14 months

Yes Vega's video was about two issues, Raids and BGs, obviously not everyone has an issue with Raids but they do with BGs which is why I'm only bringing up BGs. Are you genuinely this dense? You missed the point so hard it's now in another galaxy.

"Everyone has an issue with BGs"? Who is everyone? I do, and you do, and the Celestial CCs do. But do we all want the same changes, other than just better rewards in general? And what about half the people on Crashed's thread who don't care about BGs but want a whole bunch of changes to other aspects of the game. Are they not part of your "everyone"?
Hmm I wonder why Crashed said that there were issues that would take a 50 page post; but he will FOCUS on Bgs for now if they weren't any other issues 🤔

Everyone as in everyone who joined the boycott, psychoanalyzing like a scholar processing like Internet Explorer. Again it's not half the people, it's way less than that, if you actually read all 9-10 pages you would understand, but I understand you're too lazy for that you're simply here to be a nuisance to everyone who wants change.

I want change, but sorry, people like DamnEpic and Vega and BeroMan do not play the same BG game I do. They spend a ton of money on the game and are unhappy about the rewards they get for being in the Celestial pool (among other complaints). So if we're talking strictly about BG, I'm just not seeing any unity other than in the most general type of we're unhappy with BG sentiment. We'll see what comes of it, but none of the immediate proposed changes in Crashed's post made me super excited. Maybe you're in a different position than me, I don't know.
Vega's, KTs and MAEXs videos and boycott reasons weren't exclusively about BGs. In Max s case especially, he stopped whaling out a couple of months ago already, and he even wasn't pro BG rewards buff. Vega made a second video stating BGs are not something that will make him start spending again when the rest of the game is still on this current state.
The rest of the CCP boycotts, were clearly doing it because of Battlegrounds, and/or their drops in views when the do Battlegrounds live.

I don't think he can even read one of these: He needs one of these:
The downfall already started when Brian was forced to leave! You can’t tell me anything about community when we all allowed him to be treated this way.

Fine there is no "Unison", now back in the past when did they ever address the threat of a boycott? As far as I remember they have been numerous attempts and Kabam never paid attention to them, which is why they all failed. This one, the word starts rolling and you get a post that was planned for later on.

Exactly, you have people on the forum writing boycott chants and "We shall overcome" vibes without any self-awareness at all, and when you ask for some clarity, they just turn to personal attacks. Makes you wonder what their background is...

Them not being exclusively about BGs doesn't change the fact that BGs were part of the reason. Why are you both acting like the fact that other issues were mentioned in their videos somehow nullifies completely the fact that they did in fact complain about BGs as well? Furthermore, Crashed acknowledged there are more live game issues he just doesn't have the time to talk about them because it's too much therefore their post was focused on the one that has attracted most dissatisfaction, BGs.

Well you are no psychologist; but you still pretend to be one. So why is one or the other any different or wrong?
Ok.
You keep changing the goalpost; first it was "all about BG"; now it's "the second half was all about BG". How can Kabam take people like you seriously?
I don't spend a single dime on this game (skipped Banquet completely) and I wanted change too didn't I? I am however an endgame player and BGs is all I have to keep me from getting burned out, right now there's very little incentive for me to push past Uru 3 which are the same thoughts everyone (who was apart of the boycott) has. Do some of them have additional complaints? Yes, but rewards are the center of it all and the one thing all of us agree with, and by all of us again I mean everyone who was apart of the boycott not everyone as in the entire playerbase.

I'm wrong all the time, so don't hold me up as any kind of standard. Be better!

Dr. Zola
That would mean they'd have to take personal responsibility for their own lives too.
So it becomes: "Brian was forced out!"

Maybe, just maybe that triggered and exposed EVERYTHING, that is going wrong and piled up.
But to you is a bunch of addicts with mommy and daddy issues hiding in a basement complaining just for sport.

Hmm I wonder why Crashed said that there were issues that would take a 50 page post; but he will FOCUS on Bgs for now if they weren't any other issues 🤔

He needs one of these:
