Exactly, you have people on the forum writing boycott chants and "We shall overcome" vibes without any self-awareness at all, and when you ask for some clarity, they just turn to personal attacks. Makes you wonder what their background is...
Are you sure that's the hill you want to die on after calling every single person asking for change an addict?
I read most of the posts on Crashed's thread and watched some of the videos. I'm not really sure how Kabam can possibly satisfy everyone since the specific complaints are so varied. Yes, there is a common thread of displeasure over things like bugs, monetization, lack of communication, etc. But that's a tall order for any company to fulfill; basically, change everything about yourself for a player group that Kabam itself continuously claims is not a relevant portion of the player base. I just don't know how the disgruntled players can be optimistic for the long term. Yes, maybe they'll get some better rewards or compensation out of this, but there wasn't one specific thing the forumites/youtubers are asking for. I think that would've been easier to get both for them and for Kabam to deliver.
It's also possible that with so much going on in the world, some players are focusing their pent-up frustrations and putting them on the game. Sort of how weird things happened during covid because people were already so unhappy about their own lives....
Time for another session of armchair psychology Dr. Phil? Literally every single thread and video about the boycott and the displeasure was about the state of BGs in general did you even bother watching any videos before coming here and parroting the usual?
You got it all wrong. It’s just frustrated people complaining about the game due to their miserable existence. They don’t have any valid complaints against the game. Just taking out their anger on kabam because the game developers are a soft target.
If they're not valid why did Crashed acknowledge them and let us know there are changes coming literally with next season (which wasn't even planned until season 28 mind you).

Err I don't think that's what he said, I might be lost in a haze. I thought he said he reported on it before he planned, not that season 27 was going to be changed.

He said the solo milestone buff and moving them to VT was happening this upcoming season no? I might be lost too it was so much information I'll go read again.
Edit: yeah I just checked, VT buff coming this season, GC the next one.

Well you are no psychologist; but you still pretend to be one. So why is one or the other any different or wrong?
I'm wrong all the time, so don't hold me up as any kind of standard. Be better!
Maybe its your mommy and daddy issues, your addiction to thinking you are right, your lack of self awareness, your egotistical narcissist behavior, and all the **** you can find on the cliff notes of a psychology 101 text. Or maybe its just blowing smoke out of the you know what orifice 🤷

Them not being exclusively about BGs doesn't change the fact that BGs were part of the reason. Why are you both acting like the fact that other issues were mentioned in their videos somehow nullifies completely the fact that they did in fact complain about BGs as well? Furthermore, Crashed acknowledged there are more live game issues he just doesn't have the time to talk about them because it's too much therefore their post was focused on the one that has attracted most dissatisfaction, BGs.
It s all about priorities. Crashed s post was forced to ease the complains, and damage control the situation. It Is a post about Battlegrounds, that s the "part" of the reasons Kabam chose to address first, to stop whatever may have started. Because, most of CCPs and whales' Priority was this. BG rewards. For everything else, they state their dissatisfaction for months now, but they never got to the crying wolf point (if I m using this right).
And I m glad that not every one of them have BGs as their no1 reason. Because if they did, we re screwed.

Again, regardless of what their main reason is, BGs is one of them for all of them. Every single cc that posted the boycott video mentioned BGs to some extent, you asked what the community's unison was on the matter, I gave you the answer, it's BGs. The other issues such as boring EQ and SQ with terrible rewards and Raids obviously don't have as much of an impact as BGs which is why I didn't bring up any of them.

ten people are not the community. And they don't represent it, even if they like to repeat they do.

Right, I already made it very clear to the other Jean Grey pfp guy that when we say everyone we mean everyone that joined the boycott not the entire community, nobody here said we speak for everyone else. We speak for ourselves and obviously we're not alone on this.

The downfall already started when Brian was forced to leave! You can’t tell me anything about community when we all allowed him to be treated this way.

Hmm I wonder why Crashed said that there were issues that would take a 50 page post; but he will FOCUS on Bgs for now if they weren't any other issues 🤔
Expecting few more detailed posts in coming weeks. This one is a good read. The Future will tell, how successful are the changes.
