So what's everyone's BG routine? I'll go first.
1. The new season starts. Nice
2. Check the season criteria and sort out the player deck.
3. Find a game.
4. See the roster, quit out.
5. Find a game.
6. See the roster, quit out.
7. Find a game.
8. See the roster, quit out.
9. Find a game.
10. See the roster, quit out.
11. Find a game.
12. See the roster, quit out.
13. Etc...
14. Etc...
15. Etc...
16. Season ends
17. New season starts. Nice
18. Rinse and repeat.

Is it just me? But I can say this is the last BG season I've played. Adios, BG, it's been real.

Maybe don't quit out next time? I have 2 r4s and 23 r3s, yesterday I lost against a guy with just 6 r3s and adeck full of 6* r4s and 7* r1s. There's always chance of newbie valiants and paragons in bgs. And you won't improve if you always quit and refuse to learn.

I will acknowledge your very valid advice and thank you for the comment. But playing BG since its inception and having come to this is not fun anymore.

You playing bgs since inception? I wonder how your roster looks like? And what bracket you feel the bgs are becoming tough and "unfair"? Cuz I'm pretty sure if you play bgs since 2022 and if you play the game regularly, even casually, you definitely wouldn't struggle in VT.

I see the issue. You keep quitting out. You actually have to play the matches if you want to progress. Hope this helps.

On a serious note. What do the decks look like that you keep quitting out of? Do you only want to face decks that are weaker than you or something?

It’s a weak mentality if you’ll only play people at your roster size or worse.

I have a decent roster with a lot of r3's and most of the great defenders at r3. I have been beaten by plenty of players with worse rosters. Sometimes due to bad draws and sometimes cause I played like ****. BGs is a numbers game when you're mid skill wise (yes that includes me). Keep grinding, stop quitting (unless you're playing me, then I'll take the W, thx!).

I haven't bothered with BGs since season 2. I don't have the roster and I hate the meta. I'd rather enjoy the game and miss out on some rewards

I will acknowledge your very valid advice and thank you for the comment. But playing BG since its inception and having come to this is not fun anymore.

maybe play less BGs and start focusing on content to help your roster so you can stop quitting out like a coward.

@winterthur no need to ban Sinister this meta. The cleanse will remove the bleed so no degens.

Even with half of his degens, the damage is insane due to the special damage increase. My sinister finishes fights in 30 seconds

I've seen way more smaller accounts playing BG this season than in the last few seasons.
The node is easy to plan around (most players have tons of mutants), and the rewards have been upgraded.
So this typical "BG is unfair" narrative is way less resonant this season.

And I think I was wrong when I thought that upgrading BG rewards wouldn't make a difference.
Clearly it does, and has flushed a lot more BG players out of the woodwork.

Agree about the rewards, they are much better. I didn’t realize how much they had improved until I actually jumped into the season and started moving up through Diamond and Vibranium.

Agree about the rewards, they are much better. I didn’t realize how much they had improved until I actually jumped into the season and started moving up through Diamond and Vibranium.

Yeah, usually I just play to knock out the two-day objectives and stop.
But I rushed through Vibranium today just to scoop up all the rewards.

Yeah, I wish this GC node where you also get rooted was part of the VC node too. It adds an extra element of challenge to an otherwise cookie cutter "who has more mutants" snoozefest.
