Subscribers have Spoken! Valiant Speedrun Record Attempt starting 9th April!

Well hello again people.
Some of you will know how this post is about to go, but for those who don’t know me, I have done a few Valiant Speedruns at this point, including the one that kicked this hornet nest into what it has become.
Since my last run we have had the buff to Act 5 and the Epoch of Pain, which at the time I thought was very good but wouldn’t have that many implications. That’s when I watched MSD’s run and realised what it had truly released onto the game.
Firstly, a big shoutout to MSD for obliterating the record with a time of (approx) 4 days 16 hours, pretty much halving the previous record. Some insane pulls, usual MSD gameplay, and the again streamlined early game led to this feat, but that doesn’t take away from the effort he put into it.
Now it’s time for me to try and take the record back home to where it began! I did a poll on my channel to see if people wanted me to continue my Nuzlocke account or switch to the Speedrun, and it came back with over 90% saying to Speedrun again, so that’s what we are going to do.
SPOILER: this one is going to be HARDCORE. I am aiming to finish in 3 days and stream 90% of it (except from like autoexploring some content etc), so there won’t be daily recaps in this thread, just probably an ending statement after the run has finished.
I’ll drop the link to my channel for new people, and the run will start within a few hours of this post going live, with multiple streams on my channel per day, hopefully with people on call to keep my sanity in check.
I truly don’t know how this one will go, if I get the good pulls I will shred through the game. If I’m stuck with 6 star groot, well …

The alternate way would be exploring 9.2 which would take quite a lot of time especially with suboptimal counters, so completing 1 epoch path is a more high skill but faster way

In terms of streaming it will be slightly varied, but the hours to look out for me in terms of est will be anywhere from 6pm onwards for the longer stream, and maybe around 9am if I can fit in a shorter day stream
