    Getting that mastery point first.

I am not getting overly hyped over this one just yet for 1 reason only. It is still tied to how often the store is updated. The track record of updating the stores is still negative. A new currency and a new store doesn't change much if the items take 1 year to update.

Well Crashed did say that they would aim to update it 3-4 times a year, which would be enough. Whether or not they actually stick to it is another matter, but with the info we have I think this is sufficient enough to get hyped

It looks good ngl; but I will keep my position on being hyped.

Where is the info for the store? Is it available now, I don’t see it 😔

Glad its being well received! BIG team effort, Crashed and crew did a ton here

There's something that's not making sense to me. Why adjust GC points with used elders if alliance rank rewards will get no buffs? With current 1 1/2 T4A as 1st place rewards, there's no point in using Elders at all, we can climb GC by only using energy.

    Radiance store is awesome.
It's so that higher tier players don't just sit and camp in VT
I understand that however you're not understanding my point.

I just hope devs aren't assuming players will be incentivized to use elders in GC otherwise the game will face a similar problem related to meta system design not working as intended.

Well, this also probably means that every other store will remain as they are forever now.

I’m concerned about the gap between the top players and the “still relatively good” players. The radiance gap insane, it’s more than 3 T7B every BGs season and that is going to make keeping up a fool’s errand. If you’re placing gamma and arcane already you’re a decent player. Mysterium and Celestial players are a cut above, but them getting an EXTRA R4 every 5 weeks is going to be a huge shift away from having a relatively level playing field—unless kabam intends to help close the gap through paid offers, which is troubling also.

Reaching Celestial tier takes a lot of effort for F2P/Small-spending accounts. You have to target your rank ups for battlegrounds and, in some cases, for very specific node sets in the Gladiator Circuit. Rewarding these players, the top 250 summoners, for their diverse game knowledge and skills seems concerning to you? If you are playing casually, you get decent rewards, which should make a lot of sense. Closing the gap between the top players (which are not necessarily the biggest accounts) and whatever stage of the game you are at right now is up to you. With the resources available from story and endgame content, you can fairly easily build a deck to compete in Mysterium at the very least. However, if you are not intending to compete in high tiers of battlegrounds and alliance war, why even care about the rewards available up there? What do you need an extra rank 4 champion each month for?

I agree with the concern, I think the gap in rewards should be smaller and incentives smaller accounts to actually get into GC. I don’t think 10-20k radiance will do that job well, but I will take those 750 units each month. It is what it is, let’s not foul ourselves into believing they will change the structure 6 days before it goes live.
As for the store, if I’m reading this correctly, those C level players with hundreds of thousands of radiance will be only able to buy 1 T7B and 10 T4A each month (at least when it comes to the most valuable rankup resources). So they can actually get a new r4 every 3 months (solely from BGs) and huuuuge amount of other valuable items, but the key here is one r4 every 3 months.

Didn’t the post say the store would be attempted to be updated 3-4 times a year? That’s at least a more frequent promise than for the currently existing stores.

    When will this take place?

Radiance announcement only says first introduced with BG, so I’d assume with the start of the next BG season on April 30

I could see them doing a tweak to her abilities similar to what they did with iBom. Like someone said earlier, make the change to Limbo scaling with base attack only and that's all that's really needed. Having her as the Radiance chase champ would be a nice touch. Seems like the mystic thing to do (Sigil Witch, UC, already).

If you believe that you are in competition with the C-level players, you’re not. Just relax and let it go.

only the top 1000 players get enough radiance to buy atleast 1 t7b , and as they expanded the size of brackets , even someone in uru 5 (48k to 38k ) and uru 4 ( 38k to 30k) , its gonna have mostly medium to lower valiants who still chase t4a as their primary resource to r3 7* champs . so at 18k radiance , it is enough to buy 2-3 t4a , giving 1 r3 every season to those players.

Sometimes plans change and things fall through due to other factors - that's the nature of Live Service games, and something that led to us not share as much info as we wanted, as early as we want to - that way we don't come up short of what we announce.

This has recently changed, as we're going to be peeling back the curtain sooner more often, as we have already started doing. We feel better about this strategy moving forward, and also feel as if we're in a better place to do so at this point.

Regardless, all that being said, when it comes to the Radiance Store specifically, it's tuned very differently from every other Store in the game. It's purposefully designed to be easier to update periodically throughout the year.
From a player POV, I'm very excited for Radiance to launch.
Hey if you guys keep up the promises great for everyone and I will look like a sour guy. I can live with that and I hope it works out.
Can't help being skeptical though when BG rewards haven't been upgraded in over a year, glory store is meh, war rewards are pretty outdated, EQ will be "tested". Moving from that to an update every 3 or 4 months is a huge step compared to the past.
I can only compare this to the rework program that it was 2 every couple of months, then 1, and then pretty much without a schedule.
I predict they stay on schedule...for the first few updates. After that it slows down as usual.
I think its a very ambitious change, ambitions can be huge win or a huge loss .. lets hope for the first.

I mean unless they've expanded or hired more people I don't see them being able to keep up with thier skeleton crew. It's part of the reason the game is where it is now.

As someone who hasn't yet gone beyond victory track I'm hoping these changes will help in matchmaking and give players like myself an opportunity for the first time to leave the victory track and into gladiator circuit. I am excited to see that as a Paragon player I will have access to the store, but need to work on earning this radiance and will try my best. I wish everyone well. Kabam (Osaurus) Rex I know your probably way out of my competitive league, but if interested I'd like the challenge and the opportunity to step up my battleground game.

Wasn't this the same thought process applied to Mysterium? It's been like, over a year since that store has been touched with a centralized currency to centralize rewards in turn to more easily update SQ to match progression
