KABAM mods, pls certify this as this is not a scam(you u feel like it or for certification as people may feel that this is sketchy). So @TotemCorruption talked about how CVS cards are actually usable for Xsolla purchases. But did you know that for CVS, they take unwanted gift cards(from their reliable sources of wanted gift cards) and trade them to you for CVS gift cards(for Abt a dollar less than actual value). So I took a 50$ Walmart gift card that my parents confess that they will not use, and did not care Abt it. went onto their website(search up CVS cardcash) then fill everything out and voila! you can use the eGift card to make Xsolla Purchases. This is how I got my double track and my cyclops with unwanted gift cards!

So I'll take this at face value that you were unaware, but this is why scammers/phishers/extortion schemes ask for payment in gift cards. You'll have a harder time converting bitcoin tho.

???, CVS is reputable tho?, also are u saying xsolla is a scammer lol, I'm just saying cause for parties, my parents get aoot of useless gift cards, so I asked them which ones I could keep, then convert them

Does your Wal-Mart not have a grocery section in it ?
Or drug section (not for drugs, but basic necessities like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.)

Or I guess if there really isn’t one nearby to you.

But IMO, that Gift Card is indeed basically money. If you throw it away, you're basically throwing away money. So, don’t know if that statement about “without spending actual money” would really apply.

As for CVS, is it really CVS themselves (company) that is “buying” your unused gift cards from other stores, giving you one for them in return ?
Or is it a 3rd party reseller of gift cards that they just direct you to for doing that ?

Wherever the gift card came from, if it is a valid card, then yes it could apparently be used on XSolla if Xsolla takes them.

(I could see your point if the Gift Card were for Pottery Barn, Ulta Beauty, 1-800 Flowers, or Beaver Dam Vacation Resort in Nowhere, AnyState, or such. But Wal-Mart ??)

we don't go to Walmart for groceries or anything,we normally go to ALDI, and Indian grocery stores, but Walmart, we rarely go to for ANYTHING, last thing we bought at Walmart was a Christmas tree, and it is CVS buying these cards too, also I am talking about unwanted gift cards

Let me have my own happiness. I do have a life outside of mcoc, but moving to another state with no friends, mcoc has been the only thing letting me survive my time here. I have planned my senior trip too.

I'm just saying, when I was 17, I was losing freestyle battles to Eminem outside the Beverly Center. True story.
I certainly wasn't worrying about exchanging gift cards for video game purchases.
Leave that to guys like me who need a distraction just go get through their day of work and errands...

An online community unfortunately is just not a substitute for a real life community.
Try to find some hobby that gets you face-to-face with people.
It doesn't even have to be a hobby you enjoy.
Like in college I learned guitar just because it was a way to hang out with people and make friends.
It could be anything really, as long as it gets you socializing in person.

I'm just saying you can take your parents cards and a lot of other parents cards or even strangers cards that you asked nicely for to assist your Nigerian prince friend. That's why it's a popular scam. Again, taking you at your word that you got permission, but you can take any gift card, (stolen, scammed or legit) and resell it for less than face value to any number of third party sites with no trace back. I know factually of individuals who "whaled" out on Roblox using xsolla gift card scamming.

But you're probably not doing that.

CardCash is not CVS itself: it is a separate company that operates a gift card marketplace. They are a legitimate business that partners with CVS (which allows them to issue CVS cards). I've read mixed reviews of their (CardCash) services, but they are at least a legitimate business.

I am not a mod nor an official spokesperson for Kabam. I am simply stating what my personal knowledge is regarding this particular payment pathway. Also, I don't think limiting your purchases to gift cards qualifies as free to play status, or at least it wouldn't in the eyes of most players I know. However, you do you: spend however you want to spend.
