New Experimental War Season started with ZERO WARNING! WTH Kabam?

New Experimental War Season started with ZERO WARNING! WTH Kabam?

Seriously!?? NO announcements, that I've seen! And sorry, I don't have time to watch Kabam Stream TV, so if KabamMike or whoever announced this Shite... I missed it.

9 Year Player here & I've seen serious Fuster-Clucks by Kabam...

But this... TBD-abomination/accident screws with my LT-strategy for Ranking Up War Defenders...

Screws with MY Gametime...

And just seems like an Ambush in how it has been executed!
Even now, with maybe 3 hours notice, Kabam changed the Map and my Alliance has 4 Defenders TOTAL... and not the 30 we had when I checked Placement first thing THIS MORNING!

The Execution of this was... ... ... (really trying not to Swear here)... ... (still trying!)...
... a Nucking Futz Fuster Cluck!
Damn... that is the 'kindest' I can manage!

    Yes, the new shortened map was not in place at the same time as the game “truncated” your defenders from 5 down to 1.

    And maybe something will be done with this first off-season war, giving people time to straighten out defense over next couple days (not sure if that will happen, but probably at least would be making sure WarRatings stay frozen or don’t count).

    But “Zero Warning” ??

    And… my war is complete. ~11M health is less than 60 seconds.

    Not even arguing it’s good or bad, just that it’s certainly odd from a design perspective.

    I like my gold alliance because it's chill and I don't have to do AW or AQ, but if radiance is on the line, I might have to find a new alliance that cares.

    What? First off, it was announced like 2 weeks both in game and on forums. Secondly, it's the off-season atm so it's not a big deal. Thirdly, it's for one season only. You'll be fine. I promise.

    It’s not normal they stated and I quote “we have zero intention of removing old alliance war format but are introducing for one Season an experimental mode….”

    I don't 'live' for MCOC. I don't frequent Forums (this is the 1st time I've been here this Calender Year.), and I don't watch Videos to play a game I get to in my very rare spare time!

    I didn't "See" Alerts or Mail detailing a Radical Change to Wars... obviously this is a whole New Format different from almost a decade of fairly straightforward Wars with specialized Nodes and NO GIMMICKS beyond a 3min Boost here and there.

    ****... obviously a lotta folks here have more time for this Game than I do.

    I'm not a Whale who pours $$$ into this game but Knowing when a Basic Component like Wars is about to be Radically changed into an elementally Completely New Game... seemed like a Good Reason to post here on Forums!

    This Sucks cuz I have spent Years building up my Roster and Alliance...

    But I am a Casual FTP Player not spending $25-100 a month on a Game!

    This 'Change' came outta nowhere to the Casual Player... like Me and at least half my Alliance..

    And it ticked me off enuf to Complain!

    Now I know Kabam doesn't realize how Crappy rollouts like this... will Kill the joy some folks get from what was a fairly straightforward Game!

    Yeah, I'm going to close this down if that's how you're going to react. War will go back to its normal boring self in a month anyways, so no need to throw a tantrum about it.

    It is okay to be uninformed, but it isn't okay to lash out at people informing you that there was information put out about this.
