Is there a way to get an invisible name ?

  I don't get the concept of 'shown invisible'.

  Do you mean ones that have used an alternate character map ? Like an alternate language map, but using ones that have very stylish characters or symbols.
  
  (if you see them, they aren’t invisible, lol)
  
  Or old dormant accounts when searching old alliances ? After long time, game returns their player name back to the pool for others to use, but account stays there (without a name).

  I've seen a lot of those but what happens when those players make a comeback and find that their old account name is now being used by someone else?

  Yes, they would then have to choose a different name when they come back.
  Or could try using same name as before, but only if it has not since been claimed by someone else.
