People tend to forget that progression is not content related anymore, it can be bought.
Actually its the other way around. That's why you still have TBs and Paragons with rosters too big for their progression... You can meet the champion rank requirements by buying stuff; but for some reason they are stuck somewhere in story mode
Not always. I think people have a tendency to generalize, but the progression markers are only rough estimates of where someone is at. Some have outgrown their position, sure. Some just haven't developed the skills or the patience to advance yet. Some are still building their Roster, and then there are fringe cases between. It's possible to anticipate that some *should* be able to do X and Y with efficiency, but that tends to be subjective because what's easy for us might not be easy for others.
Yeah yeah fine, so those roster building, skill building, blah betty blah building people have the same chances to acquire rewards as the tier above... and the only thing that keeps on being repeated is "Well they don't have the roster..." So what is this then? Do we have to look at it as a trap from Kabam for Paragons to waste their revives and time on something they won't be able to finish? Do we have to assume they have the time and skill to finish this gaunlet but not act 7?... No matter how you look at it it doesn't make any sense.
It makes perfect sense. I never said they should or shouldn't be included. What I said was we can't make assumptions about what should or shouldn't be easy for Paragons because our experience might be different from theirs.
It has nothing to do with difficulty. Like others have said. They should not have access to those rewards period. Might be exaggerated for me to say this, read with with a sarcastic tone if you may. As Valiants we thought the rewards were suitable. Giving access to Paragons automatically lowered the value of the rewards in terms of rarity.
They're not likely going to have access permanently. It's about gathering data. I don't see a one-off as devaluing them Also, there's nothing that a Paragon can't get one way or another.

So sick of people who don't work for Kabam making the "collecting data" BS lol. The possible useful data? Oh its too hard for Paragons, lets tune it down. Or Wow people are willing to spam revives at it ..
or maybe they can change paragauntlet and make it similar to that
Hahahahha ee have been asking for a Valiant EQ upgrade, buff or whatever you wanna call it and when it finally comes they dig for data to buff the Paragon level one? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh no, how dare Kabam look at actual game data to improve more parts of the game.
It would be hilarious if they made the new Valiant gauntlet to collect data and improve the Paragon level one. Specially since we asked for a Paragon level improvement for years You really solved the chicken and egg question on this. Congrats!
maybe kill 2 birds with one stone ever thought of that use the new valiant eq to see if they could get the same positive feedback from paragon players?????
Cool, why not open it for everyone, see if they can get positive feedback from Cavs and UCs too...Oh wait their positive feedback shouldn't matter either cause it was designed to be for Valiants...

Yes, there is. We've seen the results of tuning content to the highest demographic alone. You end up with the same problem Act 6 had. Then you create a great deal of work rebalancing things. When you create monthly content for Valiants, you're also creating content that Paragons (future Valiants) need to be able to grow into. Which means that data is valuable when it comes to tuning it.
Why is Valiant EQ getting opened up to Paragon players? It's literally called Valiant... I understand that it's trying to limit the gap between top-end players and whatnot, but there's barely anything that makes Valiant worthwhile as it is (don't say anything about the Valiant/ 4 hour crystals. The 4 hour crystals are barely an upgrade and the valiant crystals are outdated and a hassle to get nowadays).
Like what is the point of pushing these titles if they do not hold any weight? Its not even that hard to become a Valiant anymore so why not keep the requirement? Completing story content should be pretty important step in the game, I say
The incentive isn't content restriction, its what spenders can get for their money. The incentive to push progression titles is you get access to bigger better webstore deals, bigger better July 4th and cyber Monday deals. They aren't rewarded with content exclusivity. They are rewarded with how far their dollars will go. Progression it targeted to incentivise revenue.
This isn't even true as valiants are lumped in with paragons for most of these too lol
That is not true except for banquet all the other events are progression tiered with valiant having there own better deals
I think the fair fight is not Valiants crying, but TB players and cavs should start to crystal demanding they should open valiant gauntlet for them also. Then kabam might listen
We have said a number of times, this content is experimental. The reason we decided to open it up to Paragon players this month is because we are considering giving them access to this format (not the same tuning or rewards as Valiant, but the same format) when we launch the autoscaling system. We didn't have time to produce another quest, so we decided we could collect some data by giving them access to this one.
It's also worth noting this setup is better for Valiant players. Had we produced a tuned down version of this content, it would have replaced the current Paragon gauntlet, meaning those rewards would have been a lot more work than they currently are for Valiant players.

So it would have been too much work and probably didn't want Valiants to double dip on a tuned down version. The cope out is letting paragon players who claim don't have the roster for it revive spam it and get upper progression level rewards. Well to make it fair I hope when you guys come out with the Paragon version tuned down in difficulty you let Valiants test it with the same rewards we would get on the Valiant one.

He says they didn't have time to put out two quests. So there is now cope for double dipping. It's either paragon rewards for Valiants or Valiant rewards for Paragons. . The latter is preferable

Yea some players are just being quite dumb
Youre allowed to join the conversation as a party that matters in this situation when youre actually valiant
I basically am I’m just withholding resources for next titan so I would be allowed to valiant eq either way
We have said a number of times, this content is experimental.
Umm if it’s tuned down difficulty the rewards will be less I hope u know

He says they didn't have time to put out two quests. So there is now cope for double dipping. It's either paragon rewards for Valiants or Valiant rewards for Paragons. . The latter is preferable
We asked for years for a new EQ, the excuse was reward budget rofl. I guess that excuse is out the window if you are giving Paragons rewards similar to chapters in act 8 and 9...

You became Paragon like 2 weeks ago, so use your claws as a kitty would not a tiger...go scratch the sofa or something

But you do care, you gotta be quite dumb to answer to things you don't care about. Reminder you are the one who cried over act 5 rewards for days, of course you would be excited of being able to get this rewards 🤣

As I said no matter what I would be eligible for the rewards because as soon as the titan changes I will be valiant but I would not do them because of my roster and also who is the one crying about rewards now the only difference was that rewards were actually lost and you don’t want people to receive certain rewards and want to double dip in rewards that are not here yet my advice to u is move on from the past

When you create monthly content for Valiants, you're also creating content that Paragons (future Valiants) need to be able to grow into. Which means that data is valuable when it comes to tuning it.

There’s a lot of weird elitist stuff in this forum that I don’t get/understand.
