As per the title, this new map is missing the portal retry, so if you pick accidentally the top portal option you go straight to the end of the map and can't go back.

6 and below have portals that can follow to any other island, over and over. 1 person can actually do all 10 fights and full explore.
5 and above do not. 1 fight only, then can only go to final end node.
It's not even a “forward” only (like prior map's 3 mini-islands that look side-by-side but really have to go a certain “forward” direction). This now is only to end node no matter which island you did your 1 fight on,
The end node should not be an option on the first portal, unless there is the 1 undo option the map normally has
Home portal has only 5 exits, each of the 5 islands of champs.
It is only those 5 islands that their own portals (after the champ nodes, whether defender or not) that only go to the final end.
(*checked, just in case somehow a 6th exit point from Home Portal was added since last war. Nope, doesn’t seem to have been)
Still not sure to what extent you cannot UNDO the Portal Move.
Home location does not have final destination as portal, so that's not it (at least not in Tier 5 and up).
*Tier 6 and below, maybe (can’t check in mine) if you portal to end, maybe it doesn’t have the Yellow UNDO available (??). But you said Tier 5.
Or else (example) if you want to take Node 2, so go to 1/2 Island, and someone else had already done node 1, and you accidentally press node 1 side, and then ALSO portal away from island, you are not able to get back to switch over to node 2. Correct (and never could anyways).
That choice 1 vs 2 was already past the point of undo'ing once you elect to make the Portal jump away from there. Portal Jump (even if just a single portal option) still counts (pretty sure) as your most recent “Choice” in which you could Undo.
Yes, it would take you back to the END of the 1/2 island, but NOT be able to go back further to the beginning of that island to change sides.
Option “A” is only the end portal if they are already on a defender island and are then jumping (after having traveled thru a potential defender node).
So (from earlier reply of mine), they probably mistakenly followed an existing player's path, AND then ALSO portal'd onward, and are now trying to UNDO 2 actions worth.
Can only UNDO 1 mis-action, not 2.
