New saga and alliance war

Just asking for a clarification:
alliance war season being what it is (sadly) saga champs are generally a priority on offense because they get double the benefits from vigor charges.
So what I'm trying to figure out is: alliance war node mentions "saga" champions, not genesis/coda champions. Since a new saga is coming to the game 3 wars into the season, what happens to the vigor boost to saga champions? Will the vigor boost apply to genesis/coda saga champions for the rest of the alliance war season, or will the saga boost switch to "fantastic force" saga champions? Cause "current" saga is changing in the middle of the season.

i'm guessing he won't get the bonus.

if haven't entered this war yet. #sega is old or new?
But add a circle to Omega sentinel and ibom too.
Maybe, MrF too. By the time we get mrF, saga will be over.
And I'm not even being salty because I have more of these champs than the average player (Bastion, FAM, Sentry, Tigra, Ibom).
*Spider woman and bastion will be in titans. You can remove those circles.
No clue tbh. They are silent. Unless they said something in discord

To give some context: we were given a brand new map with brand new mechanics and we were given 6 off season wars to test the map and study the placements, the counters, the interactions between attacking champs and vigor boosts and all that stuff. It became immediately clear that timing out was absolutely a concern even with hard counter to the node and defender, when dealing with certain placements. We had to study all interactions and find solutions in gameplay adjustements or finding different counters... then 2 and a half wars into the season, saga changes. This means some champs that were really viable or even broken good now become useless or mid. While some other champs that were useless are now relevant. All this is something we can't test beforehand. It's gonna be a live experiment basically. What's the point of having us test the map with the wrong saga champs? Couldn't aw season be dealyed 'till new saga then? How are we supposed to be ready to face this change? Or even better: couldn't they just leave aw alone and let us play the alliance war we wanna play, instead of this raids thingy? So frustrating.

Nah, his posts are still the incoherent ramblings of a dufus.
But the lil' bro should at least be released from forum jail.

How much affected are the DEFENDERS having their Saga removed ? (Just asking, don't know)
Attackers at least can easily be changed every war (and may be anyways because of different defenders you'd face).
Aspect of joining with your Saga Attacker, but not actually doing (or finishing) your fight until after getting the Update and losing Saga probably hurts more, but affected less people because timing of your fight was at least more in our control.
Only realistic thing regarding monthly updates would be to shut down the game for 1-2 days each month, have ALL events, seasons, etc, END beforehand, and then all new seasons startup after the new update.
But sort of unrealistic, (BG, AW, Incursion, AQ, all have different start/end ranges).
If game is just switching to a new Saga set of champs, would sort of be a letdown to not be able to use them for 3 of the 4 weeks worth of remaining AW this month, just because AW started a week before the Saga Change.
(Similar, would it be fair to only start new Saga early for just AW, but not other stuff ?)
If a new monthly champ becomes available in the middle of AW season, and someone uses them (as attacker or defender, or even in BG season deck) starting in middle of Season, would you say new champs could not be used then, would have to wait until a new starting point ? No. (OK, very different, but still you can see the monthly changes and what is a result)
Events could more specifically callout WHICH Saga set would get the benefit (by Saga Names), instead of just saying Saga. But then the Saga Filter button should really have 2 different Saga Filter buttons (on main pre-filter tab, not inside where you can indeed select specific Sagas) “Ending Saga” vs “New Saga” Filter Buttons.
But again would start to get confusing, and also not have a dedicated Saga apply to everything at once.
So, shut down everything for 1-2 days every new month, while the App Stores make the update available and let everyone have time to download it. Not letting anyone do anything inbetween a HARD END/START to things,
Or run into these cross-month issues to one degree or another every month.
These changes are effective now; they will apply to everything, including the current war.
Not really sure what else there is to say about it honestly...
Shameless guys at kabam couldn't even bother to comment.
1) we are mid season and we may not have rank up materials to adjust for new saga that was not announced to affect current aw season
2) not to mention most of the champs from new saga are either under a paywall or limited release. Only a few of them will be in next titan pool (which has yet to come out). Some big spenders have the clear advantage here by just owning the champs other people don't even have
3) there is 0 chance for testing to know what counters work better than others.
Conclusion: this season should have been cancelled from the beginning. It's just one mistake after another. They have proven that they don't understand what it means to play aw competitively. That I expected somewhat (even though some kabam developers are actually tier 1 players?). What I didn't expect was for kabam to just neglect sharing info about all this stuff. Like what was the point of ranking up champs for the current map when you cancel their saga boost after 3 wars? Now we need to find resources to make all new rank ups, if we even have the champs in question (some have only been released behind a paywall, some in massive unit spending events. Very few are available in the basic 7s pool). As for testing, I'm sure the people working for kabam will know exactly what works and what doesn't. Giving their alliance and their friends the clear advantage. It's seriously undermining the fairness of the competition.
I don’t really follow your point about having to take the game down every month.
But generally speaking, look at the chaos across all the different season and event changeovers. Maybe it would be better for the game team if everything started on the same day each month.
