Chaos in the forum due to Bans [Discussion]

This ban wave is pretty chaotic. (No my account was not banned). I have been reading few of the posts where players are complaining regarding the unfair bans.
After reading kabam's post and several others I feel that this is indeed an unpleasant situation.
Specially unpleasant was people comments something like "That's what a cheater would say" To those just put yourself in the situation then speak.
As a developer myself I can 100% say that there was something wrong with this ban wave. Claiming to have banned 10,000 accounts it was clearly done without checking each account individually.(ofcourse checking each account individually is impossible)
I think this was a warning to the modders and kabam would probably lift these bans after 7 days.
They could have done better though - not starting this situation over the weekend (I don't think they will respond to the tickets for a few days).

Lets see what happen. This situation will lower the moral of the community if sincere players were banned. It will also affect not-banned players indirectly due to people missing during war.

    I’m not gonna go down the rabbit hole if it’s a legit ban or not.
    I think the mods will sweep in on monday and shed some light on that.

    Nah, also, if there are 500,000 active accounts, and 10,000 were banned, then that means a 1 in 50 chance someone was banned. Someone who is an active poster on the forums, a more renown YouTuber, or someone credible would have come by now. Even though it's a small population, it still would have happened if these were 'accidental'.

    Again, most of these accounts are new or have no history, so there nothing to base what little Internet trust there is.

    And that's a funky quote break going on there, and I'm too lazy to fix it.

    This is not the same thing. Kabaam introduced a new anti-cheat solution that is horribly broken.

    Probably a lot are Chinese accounts since mcoc is not available there

    Which is why I say they are legit (maybe not fair, but legit since they don't have an official way to download).

    I deleted the micro g app because it didn't seem particularly necessary to me, now if I go into the game through the icon in the list of applications on the phone, there will be an old version of the game, but I can't update it because in the play market you can only delete and download the game again. So I downloaded the game and logged into my account, then I logged into the game through the play market, and they banned me. I've never used cheats, and I didn't want to, so I didn't share the account with anyone. Will I be able to play on my account in less than 7 days?

    4 people in our ally got suspended for no reason at all, they have never cheated in the game, 2 of them haven't even done many of the events( necro or its challenges) coz it is too much of a hassle, yesterday night we were confident that we would easily reach plat 2 in aw, but now that is pretty uncertain coz u need 30 players to fight it and even if one player is unable to join, you are highly proned to lose the war

    It means anyone active in the forums, a Youtuber, anyone active at all. Even you are pretty known to be pretty dumb would be someone "known".
    So yeah none of the active people in many social places have been banned. Even if its the 1%

    how do you know they made a mistake? All is fine for me, my ally and everyone in servers im in. If it was a mistake more of us would be impacted instead of a small group

    The thing is wild it maybe not fair but Kabam also very clear that can’t play the game one any thing offer then official game store so people who download if from offer places isn’t legit while. They could play it legit without cheating. But not from the official source.

    I was unfairly suspended for a week too.
    If you check the discord, I've posted in the bug-reports section just 2 days ago when I was doing EoP and dormammu was bugged.

    That one was good, also to add to discussion someone i speak to on twitter was banned and he for sure doesnt cheat at all or not via kabam links so i think some bans are false and need rechecking as there could be innocent people

    its appalling how they pulled this bs on the weekends, they had no reason for it but they deliberately decided to do it when you cant reach support
    This situation is strange, and unlike some dumb hypocrite i am going to treat as a stray dog from now on. I have not sided with anyone. I just pointed out how strange the whole situation is. No one I know got banned, not many people I read in the forums got banned (at least until you posted), no content creator got banned. The number 10k is HUGE, it should even surprise them, but they are standing to their decision based on how they handled it.

    So u mean new, relatively new and infrequently poster got this ban 😂? Let me clarify that, 10th years of playing MCoC, so not a new player or relatively new. And Ur last word about posting to forum frequently not get banned? Illogical logic u placed.
