Name obviously is in reference to ourself, the Summoner. Initial storyline when joined the game, interaction between the Summoner and the Collector.
After all, aren’t we a “collector” of champs as well ? Who was who.
So to help me keep them straight, as far as which one I was, chose that for a name. And when you shorten it, you still keep the verbal flow of the word with the NR “….ner”.
Didn’t realize at the time there would be so much player interaction with others (teammates, other players on Forums or in game, etc), or that it would be as big as it is over so many years. So sorry if I had sort of “gobbled up” such a relevant name to the game.
Profile, in node to (one of, ??) the only champs to know the other side of the “3rd wall” (or 4th wall), in reference to like a movie character knowing that they are actually just a character in a movie.
So when I joined Kabm they ask you to make an alias for forums and online posting and such. I was thinking through a few options I came up with for various reasons, and randomly my mom had gotten my a little fruit basket or something recently that came with a little pinwheel in it. That had been one of the options so I figured, yea lets go with that.
For the pfp here on the forums, Spider-Ham joined the contest just after I joined Kabam, I liked his design and loved him in Into the Spiderverse so figured why not go with that one haha
Ah so they let you pick. I thought it was autogenerated for y'all. John Mulaney embodies Spider Hams character perfectly.
I won’t bore you with my life story but Toproller is an armwrestling term cos that’s my hobby and Elektra was my first ever 5 star on my main, used her for everything back in the day.
I chose a user name in game that, for real life reasons, no longer applied to me. When I joined the forums, I wanted a name different from my in game name because of that. Every name I tried on the forum was taken. It was 4th of July weekend and I said “what the heck”
As for the pfp, I just used the one given to me.
Side note: I was probably partaking of adult beverages. I’m no longer a fan of this name either. 😆
