Did Kabam lie to us?

Im sure Kabam told us we get to choose from any of the defenders on wheel of fortune, but that was just a lie?

Why Kabam, why even allow for any confusion? How hard is it just just stick to what you say, you know EVERYONE wants Torch which is why you're selling him so why would you put him in here, as a defender and make everyone believe we get him?

It's a joke that you're literally selling him and then this is just a kick to the teeth of the player base.

    I'm sure it wasn't a lie. I doubt they said you can choose from any of the 12 defenders, it was probably said that it is a selector among the 12 defenders. However, we just assumed it was going to be all 12 defenders.

    More of a miscommunication than anything else.

    I'm going to select Dust even if Torch and Thor were available, but yeah, why put them in the quest if they're not going to be in the selector?

    You know, I agree with you. But like, how hard would it have been to say it properly."selector from the defenders, but not all the defenders " or even just say "a special new selector. It contains champs like Bullseye, spiral and Serpant." Less information, more accuracy

Perhaps but that’s dumb and not how most would interpret what we were told. You’re still getting 1 of the 12 defenders. Classic Kabam
    Exactly this, they worded it to make us all think we'll get to chose from any of the defenders, they put in Torch but don't include him in the selector. That's misleading the players and it's a sh*t thing to do

    There's already a LOT of people unhappy with Torch being introduced how he is, how mahy champs Kabam are literally selling and to do something like this is just a disgrace

    They didn't lie, they said it s a selector for one of the 12 defenders, selector of five champs, and "we don t want to spoil you who it there is on it".

    Probably the content had already been made with HT as defender and they realize it late that they can sell Human torch on July 4 sales....its ok. No one has problem with that, but they shouldn't have promised a selector of 12 defenders

    They never said there are 5 champs in the selector. That is the epoch nexus they were talking about.

    Weird that us dummies keep "misunderstanding" Kabam when we listen to what they say! This has happened twice now within a few months. Remember the heart of fire, "6 champion classes in the crystal" and now this. If we have to go back on livestreams to listen to their very precise (and misleading) wording to figure out that they didnt technically lie, then maybe there is a problem.

    Yes, this. It's not like either of them are generally super hard defenders that couldn't be replaced with just any other champions that is available as a 7*.

    That being said: I've seen a rumour both in this thread and elsewhere that Dust is not in the selector. I'm not sure if it was a typo (the stickied post has an edit), but she is. They also added a Titan Nexus and a 7* Deathless piece selector to it, so I guess we got 12 options in the end anyway, which I'm happy with.

    Nothing can be done now, they're not going to add Torch of Thor and canr go back change what they said.

    An apology for miscommunication would be fine, acknowledging the problem is all we can ask... silence kinda feels like we created this problem as we interpreted what they said wrong, taking liability is always good.

    Also seem they added a titan nexus and 7* deathless selector so really good changes

    While I'm glad they can't post currently (if only it was indefinitely), I would welcome a butteredpopcorn tantrum on this situation right now. I think we finally found an issue that calls for his particular non-skill.

    An "apology" and some unknown future compensation is all banned people got, I don't even expect anything on this.
    Remember guys friendly doesn't mean they are your friends. When big boo boos happen they ghost people til it blows over.
