My account is now 7.7 million, I do have the 7* champions just not ranked up to 3 for most of them, using 7* rank 1 champions wouldn't make sense
This content is like wine, I guess you need to let it age in the cellar for a few years before touching it LOL
And this is actually a big issue, the rewards will age very poorly especially with the rapid release of Rank 4 materials by December (banquet) we'll be looking at rank 5 much like last year where we were looking at Rank 4s
The rewards will be outdated as soon as July 4th drops.
That will be the funniest thing that has ever happened in MCOC
I play this game these days (10 year vet) mostly for the end game content. This is not it. Honestly, maybe if I could enter the quest but still be able to enter monthly quest, side quest, etc. so that I could do a fight when I have time, I would give it some leniency, but having to plow through these slog fights is not enjoyable.
On one hand I’m glad to see something new for end game instead of going back to Necro again or Grandmasters Gauntlet, etc. On the other hand, this quest is not it.
Oh, and not letting to use 6* is bs. Same for paywalled champs. Even for the first fight they have that free lady from paywalled sequence of characters they gave out for new year. She did ok for me at r1, r6 5* would do even better. Some people will have 7* not ranked or not duped or will only have 6* but not 7* due to luck or paywall or whatever. Yet kabam will not let you use your best option just because
It’s been out for all of 38 mins, I guarantee most people haven’t even tried it, and Kabam literally said it was supposed to be super hard
Ok after playing it for 3 hrs. I still agree with the post
Time is passing and I haven't seen even one actually positive post about it. Not one good thing mentioned outside of "it's actually kinda maybe duable for 1% of the playerbase". First impressions are important yall.
I reaaally wonder why most people haven't even tried it. I guess it will remain a mystery for the ages.

what don't people understand about criticism on some of these events ... it's not because it's "hard". there's literally nothing they can put out that won't be solo'd by someone. so it's not about it being "hard" content. the content itself can be disappointing in how it's delivered, the ask in its delivery etc.
there are a few instances when "hard" played a real part (see the Act 6 fiasco) but in general, the complaints are not just simply saying something is "hard" so it should be deleted. there are a number of factors involved in disappointing content. for me, it's never because it's too hard.
Completely Agree 👍 100% its not that its hard stuffs always going to be hard its the other aspects of this Restrictions being 1 especially when it comes to champs and why now does everything have to be built like Crucible. We liked Crucible because it was Act Content nodes this is on a whole new level not to mention the Defenders attack values in Quest 1 seem so overturned and Champ pool is extremely limited especially since No 6* are allowed.
We knew this was going to be restrictive Content but not like this and not in the first Quest if the first quest is 10-15 champs whats quest 2 and 3. 8 or 5 total champs on top of the crazy nodes which some are tuned to where the champs available for said node won't even work like Leader for example you can choose spot but a Node on him has Disorient so thats a Big no no why is he even an Option for that fight in that case. This feels like each fight was tested with very few champs and played by MSD and then kabam just threw in a handful of other champs and were the real testers idk not excited about this content at all like I was with Necropolis or Epoch even this is a miss.
Folks, stop arguing with each other and keep the discussion focused on the content, please.
This has been going very far off the rails.
I have one thing to say the selection. Is just bad considering you already need a pretty deep roster meaning you may already have most of them it would had ben super cool if touch has ben there. Even thor rag. But honestly first quest wasn’t bad was ngl fun ish haven’t tried the 2 quest. The selection should ben more. And better.
They did say its aspirational content. Meaning your supposed to grow into it. Those whales with nearly all 7* max sig and r3 or r4 are obviously set. Everyone else is supposed to get around it eventually.

Yh and when some people grew into it these rewards will be absolute garbage. So the people didnt even need to do it later. Terrible Design all the way

I think the frustration behind this quest really highlights the flaws Kabam has made in designing champions recently. Most of the fights involve defenders released in the past 2 years which all have a targeted attacker that specifically hard counters them.
End of the day, doesn't matter how broad the tag selection is, there's only going to be 2-3 champions which can even do the fight in the first place. It's a simple 'do you have X champion to counter Y champion' situation.
This restrictive format only really worked well in the seasonal of pain quests where you could have just ignored the weekly objective but here you need to have an exact counter to even bother attempting the quest as its all in one go.
Not to even mention the highly inflated health and attack ratings that forces you to ideally have counters at R3/R4...
Anybody else besides me regretting giving positive feedback on Gauntlet type quest? I feel they are over doing it by now. Follow up question. If most of the content has been like this, is there a point on investing time on creating synergies?
There's a reason Act 6 was nerfed so many times and nobody really enjoyed Abyss. Why are they going back to making restrictive unenjoyable content when that's something they've been trying to get away from like seriously I opened the first quest saw my only option for Serpent was Leader and after hearing someone say the first quest is the easiest and the next two are even more restrictive I just closed the game and went to watch a movie. Whoever designed this seriously missed the mark, that's strike two now for me, at strike three I go for another break cause I am not dealing with this lol.

Dude totally Agree on the selector as many know on my channel I've been hunting the Pig 🐖 hes literally the I ky base pool champ im missing from the 7* Base pool well now Prowler since he was added from the last Titan batch was hoping for a straight up champ Selector as I already have every champ in that selector duped r3 and High or max sig. So I hear ya on that bro.

Right but the rewards suck and by the time you grow into it you'll have better things to invest your time into, like banquet story content and other endgame content

It also kicks out champs that ramp for a quest, devalues champs that can cover multiple nodes in a path, etc. One and done. Everything is battlegrounds now…

It really does stink. After valiant monthly quest I thought maybe they could throw out another great piece of content. This is definitely a huge miss. The restrictions are ridiculous and I have all of the champs from the selector so I might actually skip this content.
When the game's #1 YouTuber as far as most subscribers comes out and completely blasts the content after just getting into the game again is not a good look.

May I suggest pairing it with some 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon
It will numb your pain and heighten your senses to the excitement of seeing Enchantress 2.4 million health pool and unblockable specials
