I wonder who thought this would be a good idea, Quest 1 alone has fights that only have 2-3 good options per fight and by the end in Quest 3 there are certain fights which only have 1 viable option. I get that they want to make endgame content hard and Epoch was a great example of tough content with some restrictions in place, Ordeal was too but slapping massive hps and making the tags THIS restrictive isn't the way that's just lazy design in my opinion.
Another persons thoughts are never worthless to them
This is technically true, but when someone like the OP says "they've surpassed their monetary goals years back im sure" it is mostly worth weird bulletin board material.
It’s all good for people that live on the forums to “express opinions” and dump and fellow community members though right?? @KabamPinwheel … That’s all good though as long as you live to defend Kabam no one is allowed to defend anyone against this abuse though right???
Mr 100 posts a day can call anyone names or insult their opinions all he wants without the need to be constructive in any meaningful way… further doucheness
He didn't call anyone a name. He said the posts were stupid and worthless.
It's crazy to me that one piece of content sends people into a tailspin like this. Like yeah the content isn't great. I probably won't do it because it's just too long of fights.
But this overreaction people are having like it's the last piece of end game content we'll ever see just seems weird. Give the constructive feedback and let them know your thoughts but posts like this are just plain stupid and worthless.
I agree with this.
It’s difficult to understand how Kabam thought ridiculous champ restrictions and monotonous fights in WOF makes good content.
But, the overreaction is irrational imo. I struggle to understand the logic… Content is bad so rewards should be great.
if the content is that bad (I agree it is), the rewards are hardly game changing so you’re not losing much ground by not doing it.
I don’t want to suffer through bad content for great rewards. Give me enjoyable content with fair rewards and I’m happy (epoch of pain, necropolis, carina 10 yr challenge).
That’s my take on it
Throwing tantrums on a forum isn’t going to change anything. Poor participation numbers with bad content and constructive feedback much more likely to hit home.

Thank you, I'm glad someone else thinks like this. Everyone knows the Wheel was a huge disaster, no need to post something like this if it's not constructive. This is also ONE singular miss amongg a whole host of bangers (Epoch, SoS, Necro). If Kabam can listen to the community feedback and fix what went wrong, this wouldn't be an issue anymore

It's not one pice of content but basically the proverbial straw on the camel's back.
Game still has gameplay issues that haven't bern solved in over a year (including the rogue AI)
A banwave that bans users who shouldn't have been
Endless paywalled champs for the past few months
2/3 of new releases being defenders which need hard counters
And now a piece of endgame content that gives meagre rewards relative to the time needed to complete it using restrictive attackers.

No one at Kabam says "well, the more hyperbolic the complaints, the more we should pay attention to them." At least, no one I've ever met.
The more hyperbolic they get, the more I tend to tune them out completely. I won't speak for Kabam and say that's what they do. I will say that is what essentially all humans do. Infer what you will.

1. As the answer always is, those are not easy fixes and they've explained it so many times now but y'all keep bringing it up like there's a magic wand to fix it. 2. They've already addressed this. Big mistake on their part but they've got to take action on cheaters. They fixed the accounts and people are getting comp. 3. When you say endless paywall champs, you mean 3? How many are endless? Would you rather them paywall some champs or paywall content? You have to give that 1% something to chase. 4. Attackers/Defenders are going to come in waves. We only had to wait like a week to get a hard counter to Dark Phoenix 🤷. Being someone who pulled a 7* Nico and had a generic AG to give her, I laugh at those rosters with a $1000 DPhoenix. 5. I'm a little on the fence about whether the rewards are meager being that it has items we can't get anywhere else in the game, along with a 7* AG which are nearly non-existent and T7B which are also limited access. The type player this content is aimed at isn't you or me. If you feel it's too hard for the rewards, the content isn't for you or you're not ready for it. For me personally, I probably won't do it and it falls into a similar column as Act 6, Necro and Abyss do for me- extra long fights that aren't necessarily hard, just long and drawn out for no reason other than to simulate a "hard fight".
Basically, the game has always struggled with one or several of these things since it's inception. You can't just say "because of this or this it makes this worse etc..". We can point to any time in history with this game and say the same thing. One doesn't make the other worse. It's just things that are all happening at similar times.
People here have a habit of just flying off at the handle and think they can yell and scream and it will just make things better. Does it warrant crazy rants on the forums? No. Especially when you say the rewards aren't worth it, then you've lost the plot right there. It's not required content. You can do it or don't.

I think people forget that these forums are just a small sample of the actual playerbase. When it comes to events or even what price they sell things for...I would imagine they look at the actual in-game data for participation rates on the event or the sales data on a particular item to judge the reaction. It would far more informative than rage posts on the forums.
This company is ran by Grown Adults who have been playing video games since Nintendo was out. They know a sh*tty product versus a good one. What goes on in this product is beyond repulsive cause it reflects the psychology of the people running the company. WOF was just brain dead, time consuming, unenjoyable, redundantly long....what kind of mind do you have to have to say "I want this entire community to spend 20min in a single fight, design everything to have to spend money".
They've surpassed their monetary goals years back im sure. Why would you want a human being to be in a fight that long. Why does the value of the rewards based on the duration of a fight?...300 champs and im handicapped to two?...Just let us have fun, band enough we have to deal with BGs issues everyday.
But what all this means is nothing...cause this WOF and all this buildup is rigged too lol. All to do a livestream to throw mike and dork in our face yet again Then fix a couple things to give us a bone to then drop summer deals...Rinse and repeat.. They did this last event and then they slapped some purple on a champ and we alll went shhhhhhh....and blew money on red and dead 2wks later. Titan update...let all not push back anymore. SMH. Kabam moves like the government
But it's Digital Memories once the servers stop right?....crazy cause they can't even let us enjoy content. Resources still hard to come by. But blow that money in the next 3wks guys...kabam is waiting. Cause they know what addiction looks like.
I don’t disagree that Kabam is a greedy corporation and that this greed has screwed the game a lot of times and that for some reason it’s full of borderline worshippers on these forums who defend them like crazy and make everything worse but I have to disagree about resources being tough to come by . That’s the one aspect Kabam has done good on recently . Sure regular players won’t be getting R4’s or Deathless soon but there is a clear and consistent path to most other resources combined with plenty of events accessible to FTP players as well . Like even the T4 Alpha which has been a pain in the ass to get before has been pretty accessible lately

Exactly. When the second paywalled champ was introduced, I quickly voiced it's irrationality here on forums. Guess what Kabam did? Within 30 minutes that I returned to check how far that post was going, I realized they had removed my comment. I just kept quiet and watched afterwards. Good thing alot of people are realizing kabam's intentions now. Will gladly love to see them delete all of these posts now.

Epoch of pain, Valiant EQ, 10 years Carina's Challenges, the ordeal.
Kabam created amazing events to forget all the problems, but, they bring us Wheel of Fail to ruin it lol, amazing job giving US the most restrictive content ever Made, with the worst possible tags.
100% agree - ai is trash , just in a way to perfect counter - long fight totally brain dead testing - if testing took 20min for 1 fight u must know that's it's bad design - champ pool what can i do if i can't pull the 1 or 2 counter as 7* locked ?
- it's another R4 which free2play can't ignore ( facing 7-9 R4 vs having 3 R4 is already feels bad ) & the gap keep on growing ...

This literally doesn't even support any argument against Bugmat78. The issue, as he said, is recent defenders requiring hard counters, leading to less need of skill as the game goes on. And how do you respond? By giving evidence for his point (a new defender requiring a hard counter, making skill less important when the new champion release cycle is defender, hard counter, defender, hard counter).
You agree, but you are so intent on arguing that you've somehow taken all your points to support the perspective that the game's defender-attacker balance is perfectly fine.

They're complaining about having 3 op defenders in a row. My rebuttal to that is that it's how the game had gone. We already saw a counter to one defender. We'll see OP attackers in a row as well. They don't release and OP defender then a counter then a OP defender then a counter etc.. With Bullseye, it took longer to get a good counter for him in a new release. But it's how the game has gone.

While I do agree as well, I have a thought as to why we are seeing this.
It's just ONE more blow that the community feels in what seems like a flurry of them as of late. I agree dislike it and move on, but a lot of the community is hurt and this wasn't the best time to put something like this out imo

You asked why several players were so upset over "one piece of content" - I illustrated that it wasn't just that content in isolation. Dissatisfaction has been brewing for months with some players.
This content is exactly for my kind of roster (10m rating 6 x 7r4 etc) but I personally am on the fence if I will do it mainly due to time investment (I don't enjoy 15 min fights).
But I was providing context as to why many think it is **** - it's not just the content itself but what is around it including better endgame events wiht better rewards for less effort, and continue dissues.

OP is well within their rights to give that criticism but they did it in a very poor fashion with many, many completely made up things. Does this content need some tuning? Without a doubt. Does it warrant crazy rants on the forums? No. Especially when you say the rewards aren't worth it, then you've lost the plot right there. It's not required content. You can do it or don't.
You asked why several players were so upset over "one piece of content" - I illustrated that it wasn't just that content in isolation. Dissatisfaction has been brewing for months with some players.

No that's not what I meant. I said 2/3 ie 2 out of every 3 champs released recently. It was a general statement on the cadence of defensive champs released in the last 6-8 months. It's been mentioned several times including when Kabam themselves admitted they were releasing too many difficult defenders who need hard counters..then proceeded to keep doing it, except now they sell counters a month or two after instead of 3-6 months later.
And there he goes... Wow, what a relief, for a second I thought you wouldn't show white cape on this post

The more hyperbolic they get, the more I tend to tune them out completely. I won't speak for Kabam and say that's what they do. I will say that is what essentially all humans do. Infer what you will.

Kabam created amazing events to forget all the problems, but, they bring us Wheel of Fail to ruin it lol, amazing job giving US the most restrictive content ever Made, with the worst possible tags.
- ai is trash , just in a way to perfect counter
- long fight totally brain dead testing - if testing took 20min for 1 fight u must know that's it's bad design
- champ pool what can i do if i can't pull the 1 or 2 counter as 7* locked ?
- it's another R4 which free2play can't ignore ( facing 7-9 R4 vs having 3 R4 is already feels bad ) & the gap keep on growing ...

I think "addressed" is too big word for the situation, "admitted" would be more apprioprate.
It's just ONE more blow that the community feels in what seems like a flurry of them as of late. I agree dislike it and move on, but a lot of the community is hurt and this wasn't the best time to put something like this out imo
