Goodbye Kabam/MCOC, I’m done with your game… I’m fed up.

Hi Kabam, hi folks...
I’m done with your game Kabam… I’m fed up.

I’m walking away from all the bugs and issues that have plagued this game. I’m renouncing your arbitrary measures that go against the very players who support you.
I refuse to accept the punishment of having my account penalized for unknowingly benefiting from a bug that you poorly developed ;)

I’m tired of the lackluster offers and events that do nothing to help players progress. After seven years of playing, I received my first ban for supposedly using illegitimate software. It seems your development/anti-cheat team doesn’t understand that many Android devices don’t come with Google Play Store pre-installed, and that players in certain regions have to download the game manually. Is that really so hard to grasp? :)

I’m saying goodbye after dedicating countless hours and thousands of dollars to this game. I’m leaving behind friends from alliances and fellow players, as well as my thousands of subscribers on YouTube and Twitch. Many of them, like me, have never been banned, yet they were affected by a seven-day ban due to this situation. It’s infuriating. Others have been permanently banned—people I would trust with my life because I know they don’t cheat.

I hope that in the future, when Kabam finally opens its eyes and realizes that this game is declining, they will restore the accounts of the thousands who were banned and who kept the game alive. MCOC is no longer fun; it feels like an army. The joy of playing has been replaced by the anxiety of wondering if I’ll be banned for something I didn’t even do wrong.

Feel free to delete this thread like you usually do, but at least I know someone from your team and other users has read it.

P.S. My thousands of YouTube/Twich subscribers will notice I’m no longer streaming there, and they’ll know who I am. 😉

God bless you all!

After this clarification, it's clear that Kabam has made a glaring error with its recent ban wave. However, the damage has already been done. Nothing they say can undo the time, resources, and progress that players have lost due to Kabam's mistakes.

At this point, no player in their right mind would continue supporting a game plagued by such arbitrary and heavy-handed measures. The trust has been broken, and it will be incredibly difficult for Kabam to regain the confidence of its long-standing community.

Kabam needs to take responsibility for this debacle and find a way to make amends. Restoring banned accounts, compensating players for their lost progress, and implementing more transparent and fair policies moving forward would be a start. But the damage done may be too great for many players to forgive and forget.

Instead of coming here make this entire thread, if you bothered to check, they are giving out a very generous compensation package to those affected.

They took responsibility and restored the incorrectly banned accounts. My god, are you purposely ignorant or truly didn't take time to read the updates?

I do sympathise with those who are living in countries that do not have official Google Play Store preinstalled

You do not have enough subscribers to have an ego this huge.

    Which countries?
That does suck. Geolocking such a world wide game?

I am one of them I have never downloaded the game from playstore All these years (I can't), I have also invested thousands of dollars with my accounts, and many hours of play for nothing, so that Kabam can use an anti-cheat system that does not Accurate, I got banned and they didn't restore my account, this massive wave of bans has been crazy, I hope Kabam gives everyone their account back and starts using a way to Make a warning because all this madness is not going to get you anywhere. I subscribe to the thread 100% agree

They have put thier foot down on this one.
No official source download means you don't get to play.

Unfortunately, your are collateral damage. I get it. I don't know how people+kabam can continue playing.

Sometime Game Developer must have taken a position to disallow apk download for non iOS devices but they may not have the tech to detect it.

If so, is there then an ethical position not to accept in-game purchases? Or at least deal with it to let users know please don’t spend because you will be blocked from playing the game.

I uses both iOS and non-iOS to play the game. And if I purchase an Android device which is not (I don’t fully understand the tech) preloaded with Google Playstore in the authorised way, good grief.

What would a warning do for you? You can't download the game from a official source so you're still breaking ToS. You don't have the option to download it officially so what would a warning do at all?
I can see how a warning can be helpful. Maybe Kabam could send a message in-game to all new accounts that informs them that third-party access to the game is against the rules and can result in action up to and including a ban? Then at least every player will be guaranteed to see it and Kabam covers their bases.
Though maybe that wouldn't work, because there is the chance that players could just skip the message and still complain even though the warning would've been communicated.

    Well, I tried. Next idea!

Can Kabam confirm if SadNick is truly gone? Has he logged in since his comment or has he deleted his account?

I have an 8 million+ account I’m deleting the game after this AW season. Support has been really bad I had two major issues and they did nothing to help. I’ve spent thousands on this game and probably would have continued to spend thousands more. This is the only place where they don’t care about customers. I’m guess they milk so much money from the whales to care about the casual spenders

If you can't download the game from the Play store, then you are using an un-authorized version of the game and a warning would not do anything for you. If you didn't cheat while using that version, that's great, but unfortunately at least 75% of the others were. What country are you in?

I hate to break it to you but if you really spent thousands, then you are a whale!

To my knowledge there are only a few countries where Google Play is banned and if people are in one of those countries they (should have) much bigger problems to worry about than MCOC
