So what’s the price gonna be for X 23

I would love to enjoy the new x23 without having so spend close to $500. I know you gotta make money Kabam but PLEASE don’t make her a down payment for a vehicle!

She's a rework so she will be part of the standard release cycle plus probably the double track event. Same as Cyclops

To be fair if you have her as a 6* it's not like Kabam is gonna remove her from your account. So you still can enjoy her, the only thing we don't know is how she'll be obtainable as a 7*. It is entirely possible that with the timing of when she's released she's the next saga chase, but I'm not entirely sure.

X23 will receive only an update to her kit, not to her animations or model, and isn’t taken the slot of a new champion. I don’t know how she will be introduced as a seven star, but her update is much more in line to the regular kind of updates we see.
Was this confirmed by Kabam? I expected her to be a full rework (Cyclops/IM style) so just an update to her kit seems like a bit of a let down considering that the voting system was kind of a 'big' deal that pretty much involved the whole community

Pretty sure they were all planned to be updates and not overhauls. And to be fair, none of them needed reworks anyone. None of them were bad champions, just champions that need a little extra something to be relevant in the game again. Cat definitely has the information she's working with directly from the source, so there isn't much reason to doubt what she's saying.

That's... a bit underwhelming. I guess I misunderstood the whole process and the word "rework" then (not to mention that Rayn said she's gonna work on X-23, so the least I expected were maybe some new animations). I'm sure the buff will be good but maybe I hyped myself up too much lol

Mutants/X-Men are my all time favorite Marvel characters, but I'm getting really really tired of having a ton of recent first-rate Mutants and reworks and paying for some of them, that I don't even think I WANT X-23 anymore, even if she was relatively "cheap" to get (ie double track). I'm deciding to skip Captain Britain because "why do I need another one at this point?"

I already have 24 7* Mutants and still only have 13 7* Techs and NONE of the heavy hitters (Ironheart, Shuri, Arnim, Omega Sentinel, Hulkbuster, Sentinel, Red Skull, Prowler, Ant Man Future, Bastion)

    I'm over it.

Of course. But a content creator saying it's just a kit update with no new animations makes me manage my expectations for it lol

A rework is like antman or guillotine. A step above a buff and a step below an overhaul

She will pretty much be like Captain Britain in that it will have zero change to her appearance design or animations, but that she will have a totally reworked kit.

It's all semantics, but I get it.

My point is that the extensiveness of the vote led me to believe that it would be an actual overhaul (and I'm sure I'm not alone in that), but that's on me 😅

Champion kit designers aren't the ones that will change animations.
