My take on the Wheel of Fate

Full disclaimer, before I give my take, I have a very well developed roster. I tend to rank up champs that I like over just being the best and…I have a high ranked Wong, this is very important for this challenge.
So, I there’s been a lot of ire towards this piece of content (I was not a fan either when it came out) but after completing it, I can say with confidence, I think it’s over hated. Now, that’s not the same as sayings it’s great but it is I think getting a bit to much hate. Here’s my quick break down of the good, the bad and a few tips.
First, the good:
If you look at the rewards as a complete thing, not as a path by path thing, they are actually quite good. It took me about 7-8 hours to do all of it and if you look at what you get in totality, it’s actually quit good relative to effort.
Also, after that first run, you really have those fights figured out and aside from a couple, they can be fun and doable by really anyone. I would recommend, if you do not have a champ that perfectly counters the given defender, just bring in the one with the highest damage. You may have to spend 5 or so revives but you’ll get them down.
The Bad:
Gorr, second path should not be there. I just don’t see how you can complete this quest without a high ranked Wong. Now, they did give him out for free in the December calendar but if you missed out for some reason and don’t have him, this content is basically a non starter.
The rewards for path one are so disproportionately bad. Again, I believe the way they designed this content was more like, path one is your practice path. Get to know the fights and go back in with more limited champs, but I will say, that just didn’t feel good after all that effort.
I personally don’t think Spiral was a well designed fight. There was just too much going there to really make it feel like you had control. Be warned, unless your MSD, that one is probably going to be a unit suck.
Tips:
The biggest tips I could share would be these three things:
1) Quickly take a look at all the champs you can use for each fight and ask yourself, do I have a good counter for this one, if yes, save that champ for that fight. If not, and here’s the tip, pick your strongest champ that’s not a counter down the road and just go all out in damage. You may loose some revives but you’ll get it down.
2) I believe many of us, myself included are just tired of reading paragraphs of nodes. We just jump in and hope for the best. Don’t, read the nodes, think about them. Most of these fights are actually pretty fair and solo-able. Take the time and understand the fights.
3) Rank your your Wong. Come one guys, he’s like the unsung hero of the last 2 years of content. This is no different. Do it (Shia Labeouf)!
So, again, I can’t say I loved this content, I didn’t but I didn’t hate it and I don’t think it’s deserving of the hate it’s getting. It’s not the best, not the worst but actually, pretty great rewards for the effort. No content has to be done, but, take a second look at this one if you have 20 or 30 revives in the overflow, these rewards are definitely better than them expiring, right?

You probably had him and didn't notice the 10x10.
R1 wong and r1 duped void can solo this.
A forum memeber used adam to nuke him out in few revives.
For me. Q1 spiral R2 Dshulk did her in 1 revive.
Q2 r3 Bullseye did in one revive, I saw Luke solos.
Q3 R2 Shuri soloed spiral.
I struggled vs Q2 bullseye and Thanos.
And on Q3 dazzler, i was just annoyed.
....
Planning is key. It's not monthly eq where you go blind and smash screen.
Some players are gonna hate endgame content anyway. Many of those are phony endgamers. They think they are, but nowwhere close to be one. Every single time there are whining threads when a new content or a boss drops. There are always gonna be hard pushes required without roster depth. We take the revive tax and move forward.
....
Congrats on the run and
Welcome to the non overreacting side.
That arcade mf is another annoying fight with serpent. I have no idea how I'm gonna fight arcade and dust without counters in quest 3 lmao.
Arcade was hard in quest 1 since I didn't know how to dex his sp1 so spent 10 or so revives. Then I learnt it and got soloes in quests 2 & 3 With Wwbn and g2099. Pretty straightforward fight.
How rintrah works I have him at r3 and wwbn at r2 who should I use for dusty
I heavily boosted too... I struggled the most on path 2 to be honest.. Thor for me was the hardest, but I used punisher, to save my Cyclops for bullseye (nice solo on bullseye with power back boosts)
It all in all Weren't too bad, I just don't like planning and I wanted to use champs ide enjoy using. lady D was unbearable though until I discovered the power rocket.. wasn't enjoyable, and my titan pulls left a bad taste in my mouth..
Deffo needed some Sig stones and exp points (don't know if kabam could add those, or imburse those who have finished it already as it's what the quest desperately needs it) but, if you have the roster ranked up, it's ok, I only had to rank up one champ for it and that was rocket. I may have jumped the gun ABIT in earlier posts...
Parry is the only way to remove armor ups. I was simply dashing it after her sp1 and it was a success 90% of times, otherwise I'd tank a few hits that's all.
Start with parry, do 4 hits and intercepts, play aggressive. Activate your root and you can even tank sp2s i believe and then deal high damage. Should be doable in 4-5 or less revives.
According to me, this is the hardest fight in whole WoF, so it can be brute forced with anyone while saving revives from other fights. I got like 7-8 solos on both of my 2 and 3 runs so I was fine spending bunch of revives on her, Serpent, and enchantress etc.
As for Arcade with Serpent, that was my choice as well and the first few tries were rough. But I eventually had to learn how to actually fight a stun immune Arcade, which was good and valuable for the future. Once it clicked for me, I almost solo'd the rest of the fight (from maybe 80% health down to around 3%, because I missed a dex in the end). But it took maybe four revives to actually get Arcade down to 80% in the first place.
Spiral is absolute **** too but I played slow against her and that's the only strat. For my first round I used zola and it was stupidly tough the first few tries then eventually he got him down. Second time I used luke which is surprisingly hard even with with luke
I used r2 sunspot in quest 2 bullseye.
4 revives, cound be less with better playing and fill Dexing sp1. One of the few fights I used fully healed. Boosts + mutant boosts.
He is so vanilla I don't even remember a node outside stun immunity.
Used r2 guilly for the solo.
Treat this fight like the necro carina.
Don't use prefights.
You can even practice the strat, same like we did vs jublee. Sp1 spam and don't let her throw a single special. Green goblin relic is key. Try to use special after activating the relic for power management. You can pull it off. 4 hit block... attack. Repeat.
-There is one thing I don't know, I think arcade stuns you if he activates heavy on his corner. So a lot of dashing back is required to keep him off there. He will rarely throw a random sp1 even while blocking. Ain't big deal.
Shathra solos dust in q3. And does it very quickly too. Depends how comfortable you are fighting dust.
I also went with this plan but accidently picked wolf instead of shathra, and thought I messed up badly. However on the next fight (Dthanos) Shathra came in clutch... I'd call her a great cheese option, even better than Moondragon lol. I had planned to use Chavez but idk how that would have gone.
Worst fight of the quest for me, and that's saying something as I got wrecked by both arcade and Torch.
So Shathra did well vs dust... and fast.
One of my friend even soloed dust with shathra who was expecting to throw revives.
I used r1 og shehulk. Forgot she doesn't have debuffs like dshulk. 4 revives and I didn't even get hit.
R1 War machine performed vs Torch in q3.
No XP for difficult content
That is beyond acceptable
I couldn't get a rhythm going at all.
In my case, I'm not a fan of dazzler and Torch in wof. Lol
I died to Torch using r1 warmachine in Q3. Because I effin ate a full crit combo.
That 1 single revive hurt me more than Q2 revive tax dhanos.
...
Ht has always been on my hatelist: Champs I don't enjoy playing as an attacker or fighting them on defence.
Torch is a champion of unskilled.
Comfortable solo
