A request for kabam

Hey kabam now I understand managing a game is hard and its not my place but I think you should really consider a better matchmaking system for battlegrounds because I have been stuck on Uru I can say maybe it's a skill issue but most of the time I get matched with people with entire roasters of 7 r3 and 4's how am I supposed to win that I go up to 56 and come back to zero

Also I think you should do another ban wave instead of banning people who play honestly ban the cheaters like this one

    Here we go again......

You're hitting your cap for how far your roster can take you. Why should you get to advance and not face more difficult opponents? It's a competition.

As far as cheaters go, report them in game and move on. There's nothing that can/will be done here.

The only "better" matchmaking that could exist would be if Kabam split BGs and gave smaller accounts their own mode with reduced rewards. Any changes in the current state would be unfair.

Why can't Kabam implement a mmr system for battlegrounds? Is it in the realm of possibility or just never a good idea? Just curious, don't know the design process behind the matchmaking and point system in bgs. Not sure if matchmaking is in its most ideal form currently, feel like its ok to look for better methods.

The current setup of fighting anyone in your tier is the best method there is. So long as everyone is going after the same rewards, it should be possible to face anyone else regardless of other contributing factors, like progression or account size. When BGs first started the game took account size and deck strength into account. Players were able to sandbag their decks to get easier matchups - obviously bad. There was also a period of time where Uncollected accounts could more easily make it to the GC than Paragon accounts because they never had to face them - obviously unfair.
Until they split the game mode and give it separate and reduced rewards, this is about as fair as it's gonna get. Sucks for the little guys, but they're not entitled to whatever rewards they think they should be able to achieve if they can't beat the other accounts that want them too.

I wrote a really long reply in another post the other day, but the basic gist is any other system would be more unfair than the one we currently have. It sucks for lower accounts, but it makes it the most fair for the most amount of people possible. And you should be reporting people who you think are modding in game. If you click on their profile picture after the match, it’ll let you do that.

Bg's suck for non-spenders. Just a fact of the game. Play 20 matches. If nearly all of are played against a better roster, your roster needs to improve. It isn't a matchmaking issue, it is your roster.

A huge misconception is people thinking they are more skilled than they are. Very few players can win against a superior roster consistently in the gladiator circuit. In victory track, toward the end of the season? Sure. Those people won't have the right masteries or really any. They will have an automatic win in round 3 and not realize it, like placing a HT on defense or something and not doing it. Basically if people are total noobs and dont understand the basics and bought a a bunch of 7* you can beat them with a roster of 6*, but it wont cut it in gladiator circuit.

The biggest misconception is thinking they are "supposed to win" or complete an objective. Its PVP 1 player loses 1 wins. If everyone is "supposed" to win one person is getting cheated for sure.

My favorites are people who have more difficult defenders like Zola and place Drax instead. Some of those large accounts in VT really have 0 clue sometimes.
