I said back then it wasn't 100% clear to me, but in Kabam's defense it does in fact state to take and keep in inventory and the only way to do that is to claim the button. I think they could have been a little clearer, but they certainly were not deceptive or inconsistent about the button. The message explicitly states to keep the button in your inventory.
I'm tired of posting this. I don't care if anyone believes me or not. I never got a message from Rocket, never had a button appear in my stash. Never had the opportunity to claim it, therefore didn't have the opportunity to win or not win the rewards. Not that I'm expecting a miracle in having someone actually really look into this.
All rewards have been sent out. To be clear, the reward isn't just for 'not pushing the button' - you have to have had the Death Button in your inventory and you didn't push it at the time of the rewards. Rocket states to take the button and put it in your inventory so only those who claimed the button and did not press it got rewards. We even gave players another week to claim it if they did not claim it the first time.
It is unfortunate you missed out on these rewards, but will continue to give out free stuff in the future. If you still have the button in your inventory and did not receive a message from Rocket, please send a ticket to our support team.
Yes, I realised that it did say to claim it to the inventory, but when everything says "Dont push the button", that overrides the logic, so people didn't claim it thinking it would be considered "pushing the button"
In my defense I was new to the game, so did not understand the difference. I thought it was in my inventory based on it was in my email.

Im sure many people would be grateful if you offered all the people that did not claim the button an opportunity to receive something.
Maybe they could receive the same as the button pushers (seen as they didn't read the email properly either), but it could have a different title. Maybe "Dunce" or something like that.

Sorry, but I don't think we're going to be doing that this time. We actually gave all players that didn't claim it the first time a second chance as well.

No, Kabam isn't lying, there's just another button that people like to push. It's titled "Delete". Despite Kabam's pleading, many pushed this button anyway...
Just an FYI that Kabam's own FAQ about this event states that we had until the event ends to claim the button. I submitted a ticket pointing out this discrepancy and received the usual cookie cutter response.
Just like the 5* awkening gem, didn't get that after the nerf and I was at 197k... I've spent probably 4K on this game since.... what is wrong with me
5* awakening gem after nerf was only for 200k rating or higher so you missed it by 3k in rating. As for missing out on the rewards for Rocket button you probably have to submit a ticket.
