Should I use cosmic awakening gem on Medusa and should I upgrade her to 5/50 without BB

I recently earned a four star Medusa in the arena. I won’t be able to grind her next arena but I have a four star cosmic awakening gem and about 35 sig stones. I’m a newer free player, so I only have one tier 4 class catalyst in every class except I have 3 in cosmic. My highest champs are five star rank 2 Ultron and GP, and four star rank 40 duped versions of SW, AA, SL, Stark SM and HE.

Looking st some of the guides I see that Medusa is viewed as a god tier champ if her sig is maxed and she has the BB synergy. Is she worth using a cosmic awakening gem on if she only has 35 sig stones, and is she worth being my first 5/50 at that sig level and without the B.B. synergy?

    I would never spend an awakening gem on a champ that I can dupe in the basic arena for minimal effort.

    But if you're not going to do that, go ahead awaken and 5/50, BB or no, she's a killer

    She doesn't need the BB synergy. It's just nice to have. She doesn't need Max sig either unless you are using her on defense. She's an awesome champ. Congrats

    Why not play with her unduped for a couple weeks at 4/40 and see how you like her feel and utility? If you've still got a team of all 4/40s, you probably aren't in a HUGE rush to 5/50 people from a progression standpoint.

    Her sig ability is nice, but you'll still get most of her strengths outside of fury and auto-block.

    FWIW, I'm not actually saying you should wait for Hyperion - my perspective is that you might as well rank people you LIKE playing with, who you also NEED at a higher rank.
