That's an expectation. That's not how Compensation works.
And the current state of game mechanics, and failures demonstrates a trend. Along with the running trend that it either won’t be fixed or they pretend to ignore it by claiming posts aren’t constructive.
Compensation is due when currency is exchanged for a product and the product does not perform as it has been agreed upon that it should
Currency in this aspect is $$, time, virtual $$. All of these were lost. Example
Timed events lost or savagely misconstrued
Active events such as merc/assassin missions missing or completely lost
Boosts or units used for recharge lost
Purchase of units for timed events savagely misconstrued due to above mentioned time constraint events
Due to these being all lost and unrecoverable or unable to be awarded correctly or accurately is grounds for compensation in the degrees in which affected parties were cost, or had lost.
Example. You loose your cable service for 10-12 hours, when you bring the problem to the service provider a credit is issued as you did not receive the services you pay for and so they offset the price. That is a means of compensation.
I've worked for the Service Industry. That doesn't change the fact that you can't make every person happy.
The fact of the matter here though is that pretty much everyone is unhappy and only a select few are happy with it. That should be the other way around with most being happy and only a select few unhappy.

The point I'm making is there's no win, no leeway. People are compounding issues. Which have to be dealt with on their own. If they give for the outage, people expect for the overheating issue too. If they give for that, people want for AQ. Which are valid issues, but they have to deal with things as they come.
As for the package itself, it's impossible to give everyone everything they want. If they try to assess the damage and send Compensation, people say it sucks. Always someone unsatisfied with it. If they give X, Y, and Z, someone says what about D?
Let's say they give a package. People say it's "garbage". They want Units, Pots, Gems, etc. So, let's say they give those things. Then others are mad they only got 4* Gems. Then they give 5* Gems to some, others are mad they didn't make the Cutoff. Don't even get me started on RDTs. There is a line between expecting something to make it right, and insatiable.

You absolutely have not worked service. And at any rate, not making everyone happy shouldn't mean ostracising the rest of the community further.
I've been alive for 37 years. I'm sure there are many things I've done people aren't aware of.
I worked in both the Food industry, and Telemarketing.
You know what I bet you're right. I'm sure there are loads of things you've done that we don't know about. But given your attitude and your perspective I absolutely do not believe you know what it's like to have to really work, to have to smile while eating **** from people all day or to be dirt poor. That's why you'll always keep arguing with us, and never understand that you're as bad as the kabam bosses.
You can believe what you like. I've had to put up with my share. I didn't have to take it home, though. I don't work for Kabam, so I don't have to eat it. I'm also not arguing. I'm pointing out two very valid points that people don't agree with.
a) there are limitations to what they can give.
b) many of the expectations I've seen on here are not reasonably done.
Seriously, everyone, just put GW on ignore. His posts aren't worth your time to read, nor are they worth the time to respond to. The forums will be better for it when everyone puts him on ignore.
All he does is derail threads and gets them shut down. That is his only purpose on these forums. He is not actually 'part of the community'.

The simple answer is just buff the comp package. Take it to the team the masses arent happy and buff it for us. Doesnt have to be crazy, just needs to be more then the bare minimum please.
Why do you guys worry so much about compensation.... if you’re not happy, take a walk.... why not concentrate your efforts (and posts) pushing for increased testing, update rollback, actually having a game that doesn’t break every other day. Most of the people crying for compensation aren’t event spenders or end gamers....
Great feedback everyone, let’s try to keep cool heads and respect everyone’s opinions. Keep your mind and thoughts on just the subject at hand. Everyone has a say, good, bad or otherwise. Please be kind and considerate to one another. Thank you.

Those post that you discussed are already on the fourms, this is just for thoughts on the compensation package.

So yes compensation is deserved here.
Edit: Typos

A lvl 17 player should not get 2k 5* shards period!
You act like they can open a 5* crystal with that, it's just going to sit there until they get to a point where they can get more some other way.

Done that awhile ago lol
The beginning of the week. So, anytime tomorrow or thereafter.
