I'm with optus in Melbourne. I've had the same issue all day, however if I get into a WiFi area the game is fine, as soon as I use cellular it won't connect to the game. However in the last 20 mins I reset my phone and seems to work OK, but I'm getting the endless loading spinner alot now and have to get force closing the game. Fix your bloody issues kabam.
