Is it wise to use an awakening gem on Iron Patriot?

Everyone says Iron Patriot is one of the worst champions of any class but does his signature ability of arc overload makes him a valuable champion? Or, is it still better to use the awakening gem on a high tier champion like Iceman or Blade?

    Use on blade. IP sig is basically like iron man's but with power gain and at the cost of all your armo

    He's terrible and not worth awakening, his arc overload also has a huge drawback which is one of the big reasons why people trash him so much.

    Ummmm... no. not even close. Gems are for high tier champs or those that become great with the sig. He's the worst of the Iron Man skins.

    He’s kinda meh. Definitely not the worst but he’s only like...half a step above hulkbuster. Don’t bother unless he’s 3*.
