So ive been trying to get some tier 3 mutant catalysts to rank up my 5* AA from r1-r2... WTF does it take to get a whole one?!? 3 weeks now every monday running through it like mad and ONLY a few hundred shards per day?!?! Just pathetic Kabam!

    I might have said this in many posts, but stop wasting time on the t3cc, t4cc and t4bc frags daily quest if you need 2-3 fully formed of those, there are better sources you would want to focus on. Only do them if you are hundreds of frags missing till a fully formed.
    Best source for t3cc imo is t3cc frags crystals (22h solo event) and map 2 crystals

    we used to be able to get atleast one full t3 cat for the class daily maybe 2 years ago but this is now a thing of the past.

    best thing to do is to do the solo events and keep at it.

    I had to go through the same damn thing when ranking up my 5* icey from r1 to r2 so I know this frustration.

    the solo ones change like every 12 hours or something so you just gotta keep your eye on it and just do it. its not impossible but yes they need to bring the t3 class daily event back to when a full t3 of that class is given after 100% explo

    The game rewards players who manage resources well, for example by stocking up on catalysts before they need them. The fact that they are not easy to immediately acquire is almost certainly intentional, because resource management is just as important as combat in this game.

    It's a random drop. Always has been. You can run the same Quest multiple times to try for a drop, but it's random.

    If we are talking about T3 class catalysts, the long term supply far outstrips all possible demand. There are temporary bursts of demand that outstrip supply, but that's also probably largely intentional.

    If you're farming these from the daily events, you can collect fragments and drops from all six classes, not just one. It doesn't take several weeks to get one, it takes several weeks to get six or more depending on your luck that week.

    I fully agree with @DNA3000 on this one.

    It's more prudent to focus on solo events than the weekly class-specific quests. Through focusing on solo events, I've currently got 1000+ t3 fragment crystals sitting in my inventory waiting for a rainy day. I haven't run the t3 daily event in over a year.

    If there's ever a class specialist alliance event on, encourage your alliance to get the last milestone and do your part. You should always be pursuing resources in this game, not just when you need them.

    Just start hitting all the mileestones in solo events and in a month you will be overflowing in both t3 basic and class

    I stopped doing daily t3 quests a long time ago
