SNEAKY MOVE BY KABAM - Change in getting T3 class catalysts from daily catalyst quests

Hey everyone,
So if you all remember the rewards for class catalyst daily quests specifically for 'Hard' difficulty - you would get a Tier 3 catalyst of the resp. class on 100% exploration. These guys have sneakily changed that so as to make it more difficult to obtain them ! Currently you get only 375 T3 shards on 100% exploration as opposed to a fully formed T3 catalyst. Just happened to find this out when I was 1 short for ranking up my champion - thought I'd complete the daily quest for the catalyst but to my surprise just ended up getting shards...
Also, most often than not one would end up getting a T3 catalyst from a Lvl 4 chest on one of the paths. Sadly ended up getting shards from it now..
In my opinion, this is just another move to make it harder for players to rank up their champions. For lower & mid-tier players, it is quite a task to get T4 class catalysts but now even getting T3 class catalysts will become difficult. Hoping that this is a glitch & not a permanent move.. Did anyone notice when this change went live ?

    Thats the basic t3 quest that give u a full cat.

    The shown rewards I think have always been that. The possibility of getting a full catalyst comes from the chest. There is no fixed amount that comes from the chest.

    @will-o-wisp No mate.. I legit remember this; unfortunately I don't have any screenshot but some of the older players will defo remember this..

    Ok I wasn't clear enough, my bad.
    The only way you can get a full t3 catalyst out of those is via the chest.

    Exploring 100% the quest never awarded a full t3 catalyst. At leats id doesn't since february 2015 ...

    Its been this way for over a year, but there was a time when they gave full ones. How about this? Does anybody remember when dailies used to give class ISO?

    Its like a PHC you might get a full one like you might get a 4* from PHC its a rare thing now!

    I rather do Solo events, I get those T3 class cats regularly out of them. The daily event is not reliable

    Can’t remember on the full one. I think most times a full one appeared hence we thought it was part of the rewards.

    Full ones are hard to get from the play through now I agree tho.

    @will-o-wisp is correct they always came from the chest. The drop rate was much much higher where it seemed like you got one for a 100%. They changed that along with energy cost a long time ago probably almost two years ago.

    Before fragments were introduced, t3 cats were really rare thing. It took up to 17 times walking on hard path to get a catalyst from a chest. Now you can at least approximately count amount of shards you get, excluding shards you get from ambushes.

    I remember doing 5 times the hard path to get one tech t3c 4 years ago, when 4* shards didn't exists and I was lucky enough to pull a 4* ultron from a premium

    Well I'm not sure if it ever guaranteed a full cat but at one time it sure seemed like it. At the very least the drop rate appears to have been reduced but that happened quite some time ago, a year maybe. When I first started 3 or so years ago it was very common to get a full cat for completion but now it's very rare.

    Been playing since day 1. Dont think they ever guaranteed a full but they used topay out a LOT more shards. Enough shards that 100% would usually get me enough for a full. A few times I left there with 2 full t3cc. On the rare occasion I didnt get enough for a full I was very close.
    More recently I had to 100% it 2 weeks in a row, ran 2 Sunday specials, and one more leg of the Cosmic Caty event for just 1 t3cc.

    So here's the thing - apparently as a lot of ppl have pointed out they don't guarantee a cat on 100% exploration but you have a chance to get one from the chest. But as it turns out, I started playing since Dec last year and till about June this year - I've pretty much always managed to get 2 catalysts at the end of 100% exploration. Which means I always got one from the chest and most often than not got enough shards for a fully formed cat. Maybe the drop rates change based on your level or time spent since you started playing through some algo - highly certain about this. Unfortunately, I don't have any screenshots saved reg. this; never thought this would be an issue going forward.
    Anyway, guess we'll have to rely on solo & alliance events to get T3CC crystals one at a time.. :(
