I write this with a heavy heart and approach this topic gingerly.
Stan Lee was a huge part of my childhood; as I'm sure he was for many on this forum including mods and admins.
Please, please, please do not try and monetize his death in any way such as avatars or crystals.
I think the community would be all right with some type of remembrance event in the same vein as Gwenpool... complete with cut scenes and dialogue. Maybe have his created heroes say words about him.
Marvel fans are genuinely upset. We loved this man because he gave us so much.
I know the admins are only the mouthpiece here, but if something comes down from HQ to try and profit from his death, please fight it.
I can't speak for the whole community, but I know I do not want that.

Yeah... people are like “make him a profile pic!!!” But Kabam will probably make him an 800 unit one... don’t cash grab... please...

It would be so emotional , I'm gladly participate an event like that , just to show my respect, don't even need rewards or anything.
Hes not dead. They'll bring him back in the next issue, I'm sure of it.
Rest in peace, Mr. Lee.
Too soon...but dang, Stan created or co-created so many of the characters I enjoy on a daily basis. He had a solid life. R.I.P.
Edit: Like somebody was saying, he contributed to the war effort by sending out Captain America comics to soldiers; it’s kinda fitting he died on Veterans Day
I truly meant no offense. My love for the man's works is endless.

Never said I was the first, just agree it's a simple and perfect idea...

And I don't think anyone do something like that , it would create chaos.

I read somewhere that they have tens of cameos pre recorded in the case of his passing. It looks like he will after all live on on the big screen.
Even if they didn't, they'd just cgi him in.
