  i would rather x23 at 5 since NC has the most annoying evade in the game already and the instant DW attack means he hits ok.

  NC is underrated as an attacker - I'd use him more in AQ if alliances didn't demand him for AW

  NC in swashbuckling mode is solid. Mine is R4 and can take down same rank/level champs in arena in under 10 hits. His evade makes his attack quite difficult if you're a parry-based attacker, but gets better with practice.
  
  NC can be used as both attack and defense.
  
  X23 is attack only.

  I have an r5 NC with a pretty high sig. Don't estimate how hard he hits and how much he evades, his playing style isn't for everyone, but, if you like to dash more than parry he's the perfect champ. I can pretty much clear the entire map 5 with just him (not including bosses).

  I agree. I don't have a 4 star nightcrawler, but ive used my 3 star and have shred through very tough opponents.
  
  But I would rank up x23 over NC just cause she's a beast. Worth r5 to me
